When you first slip this smurf-blue sleeve out of its plastic bag packaging, you'll notice that it looks an awful lot like a dog's chew toy. In fact, I bet I could take it home and throw it to my puppy and she'd have a grand old time ripping its rubbery bits to shreds. If anyone happened to witness this, I doubt they'd guess that it's a sex toy that she's annihilating.

At first glance, its numerous tiny tentacular appendages looked like the last thing I would want on my penis. You're instructed to flip it inside out before giving it a go, and I did just that before testing it with my finger and raising an eyebrow. I still wasn't sold. I felt intrigued but cautious.

I decided to give it a try with just a bit of water for penetration assistance at first, and it did not seem at all interested in having me go in mostly dry. With a little bit of water-based lube, I entered with relative ease and was surprised by how strange it felt. I still can't quite describe it, but the subtle suction effect and internal texture is relatively stimulating. It's a step up from your hand, but not by all that much honestly.

The main benefit of this toy is the additional cleanliness and manageability it provides for male masturbation. It's easy to turn inside out to wash after a use and it does a good job of collecting ejaculate to prevent any environmental mess from your fluids or the lube. Sadly, the necessity of lube may be a draw back for more frugal users. It's a tight fit without some kind of aid, thus not likely to be enjoyable.

The slipinside is made of a blue rubber-like material. It seems relatively sturdy right now, but I can already see scuff marks in the rubber from flipping it in and out over the past few weeks. I'm going to guess it has a shelf life of about 3 months of use, perhaps a bit longer, but at this price I can't complain too much. I'll pick up something nicer when this expires.

This toy is good for someone who wants a clean masturbation experience and doesn't mind using a bit of lube each time. It doesn't add that much sensation-wise, however.

I've finally come to the conclusion that it just isn't as good as my hand. It still has an advantage in cleanliness, but that doesn't make up for the inferior sensation.
