Cock rings are designed to restrict the blood flow out of the penis, so when erect, it will provide a larger, firmer erection, and help delay orgasm. There are many different designs and materials used for cockrings. Pure silicone, TPR silicone, stainless steel, and even leather. There are also cock rings that go just around the shaft, and ones that go around the shaft and the balls as well. Those are a little more difficult to put on and take off, and you have to be non-erect for it to be possible for installation. Cock rings can also provide something else to look at when naked for you and your partners viewing pleasure, and the heavier stainless steel ones can remind you have something special around your package. Ever since my wife and I got a free cock ring with an order years ago, we have been enjoying them and searching for better and better rings. Both Eden and the packaging from Cal Exotic says this is 100% pure silicone. I haven't done a flame test yet, and really don't plan on doing one either, but this is one of the safest materials for toys out there, especially for soft materials. The ring is thin compared to a Tantus cock ring, so it is quite flexible and stretchable. This makes it great for users of different sizes. The ring has no smell to it, and doesn't have too much drag either. On both the outside and inside of the ring is a visible seam, but I did not notice this while wearing it. Also included on this ring are 4 evenly spaced out raised ring sections, that probably provide more restriction to my penis. These cover half of the ring, and each one is about 3/4" long on the outside of the ring. There are 9 small rings per section.

Also, because this is made from silicone, care should be taken to not use silicone lubes. If you must or really want to, try to keep it away from the ring. If silicone lube reacts poorly to this ring, it will become sticky and tacky.

There was no size option offered for this ring, but since it is so stretchable, it should be able to accommodate most users. The outside of this ring measures 1 7/8" at the widest part. The inside of the ring unstretched measures 1 1/16" at the rings, and 1 1/4 outside of the rings. Trying to careful stretch it to the max by myself, it looks to stretch out to about 2 1/4" on the outside of the ring. It is also just over a 1/4" wide at the widest part.

Putting this on just my shaft after I was fully erect was easy for my wife. After a few minutes we looked down and noticed how much larger my penis appeared to be. It was veiny and felt great! The 4 rings around it really did restrict my penis more than normal. Once we were done, it was slightly difficult to remove the ring. I still had a huge erection, and it was difficult to get my fingers under the ring to pry it away from my cock, and then off. This wasn't made any easier by the 4 sets of rings. I eventually did get it though, with no cutting or tools required.

There are two very important safety points to make with cock rings. First off, it is supposed to restrict your penis. But it isn't supposed to turn it funny colors and go totally numb. If you experience either one of these, remove it immediately. Or if necessary, cut the darn thing off. Second, you shouldn't leave it on for more than 30 minutes at a time. This may cause damage and injury to your man.

Since this is made out of silicone, it is easy to clean this, and to sanitize if necessary. For normal cleaning, warm water and anti-bacterial soap work just fine. If a more thorough cleaning is necessary, you can place it in the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap, but it might go flying with the water jets. A safer bet would be boiling it for 3 minutes, or using a 10% bleach solution. Whatever method you choose, make sure it is dry before you put it away. The 4 sets of rings really like to hold onto water, and I had to leave it out on one of our Liberators to fully dry. So far for storage, I have just left it out on top of our toy bin, which is a plastic file bin. It could easily slip into any bag, purse, or pocket for on the road travel and fun.

The packaging for this is just great. It is a small, clear clamshell package, which measures almost 3" wide, and 5" tall. This is perfect for sex shop display, but doesn't waste a lot of materials either. No cutting is required to get it open, and if you wanted to, it could be used for storage. Inside is a piece of cardboard, with a little info on the front, and quite a bit of info on the back. No nude photos or tasteless images is included. The back has an image of the ring, where it is made (China), safety info, and the typical thing saying "this product is intended for use as a novelty product only." I will be recycling both pieces of packaging now. This would also make a great stocking stuffer, hint hint!
