The bulb and sleeve are made of rubber. It is not the safest material, but you are not inserting it inside of you either. Your penis only comes into contact with the sleeve and cylinder. The cylinder is made of hard plastic. There is no give in the cylinder. The erection enhancer ring is made from some type of rubber. It feels different than the rubber of the sleeve. It could be some type of composite, but there is no info included with the pump or online. The cylinder, cylinder sleeve, and erection ring are easy to clean. The pump can pose as a problem. You do not want to get liquid into the bulb, it could cause some parts to rust and quit working.

The cylinder is about 8 inches tall by about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. If you are a little on the longer side, this might be too short for you to insert your whole penis into. The pump pulls your penis in with each pump. If you "bottom out" before the base of the cylinder is aginst your body, it would cause some pain to your penis. The tube between the top of the cylinder and the pump bulb is 9 inches long. The bulb is 4 inches long by about a 2 inch diameter. The bulb has a quick release botton to release pressure in the cylinder. I believe that this will fit most guys just fine. If you are extra large, I would look at pumps made for larger guys.

This is pretty easy to clean with some soap and warm water at the sink. It comes apart for easy cleaning. The only part that you can't keep clean is the pump bulb. There is metal in the bulb, so any moisture would cause some rust issues. Seeing that it is a bulb, I don't know how much would get in it that you would need to worry about cleaning before sharing with someone else.
