I have a confession to make. I have desired a Fleshlight for quite a while. Luckily, Eden Fantasys, in all their wisdom, saw fit to bless me with my very own Fleshlight, one modeled after internet porn star Vanilla DeVille no less. Before I received the Fleshlight, I looked up as much information as I could find about it so I wouldn’t sound like a total imbecile when I reviewed it. As it turns out, all of the Fleshlight sleeves are made out of a patented material called Superskin. This material is well known for its realistic feel. It Fleshlights are available in a few different colors with different openings and different interiors. All of the Fleshlights in the Fleshlight Girls line have interiors referred to as the Lotus texture and have exteriors modeled after the porn star whose name is on the Fleshlight. While it is nice for a masturbation sleeve to have a realistic looking outside (and the Fleshlight Girls line definitely delivers in this respect) I was more interested in what the inside had to offer. The Fleshlight website says that the Lotus texture is “designed to give the most realistic vaginal intercourse sensation ever created”. It begins with a smooth ultra tight entry that opens into a larger canal which is followed by an “inverted node” and then four “pleasure chambers”. This sounded intriguing and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

After receiving the Fleshlight in the mail, I had to wait until a convenient time arrived to try it out. As luck would have it, the next day I awoke to find myself in a pleasant state of arousal. I thought, “what a perfect time to try out my new toy.” I escaped to the bathroom for a little privacy and brought out Vanilla for some play time. I lubed myself up with Maximus and slid the Fleshlight onto my already hard cock. It’s a good thing I was already hard, because I wouldn’t have even gotten inside if I hadn’t been. I ran water liberally through it as instructed and then left it out to dry (it can get moldy if you don’t). Trick is, where do you put a sleeve with a vulva at one end to dry without attracting a lot of attention from the prying eyes of little children? I had to be a little creative, but I think it should be safe. Speaking of little children, the texture of the Superskin most closely reminds me of these stretchy dinosaurs that my boys like to play with. Made me wonder if that’s where the creator came up with the idea. I don’t know that I really want to go there though.

My biggest complaint with the Fleshlight is the care and cleaning of it. It can only be rinsed with water so I don’t feel like it is getting very clean which is okay since I will be the only one using it, but it would ease my mind if I could use some soap on it. They say that you can wipe it with alcohol, but that just adds to the complexity of the care. Corn starch should also be applied periodically to the sleeve to help it maintain its texture. That’s more care than I give to any of my other sex toys, so I don’t know that the Fleshlight Girls feel is able to offset the extra hassle involved. Maybe I’m more OCD than most guys as I like to think that my toys are clean when I put them away for storage.
