The Tenga Deep Throat Cup is a masturbation sleeve that is an hour glass shaped cylinder. It measures 6 inches in length and 2-1/2 inches in diameter at its widest. The cup consists of a plastic outer shell with a white TPE inner sleeve. The cup comes pre-loaded with a thick water-based lubricant. Ingredients listed on the packaging (presumably the lubricant) include: water, glycerine, sodium polyacrylate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, hydroxypropylcyclodextrin, IPBC, hydroxyethylcellulose, and propyleneglycol. The packaging is minimal and consists solely of a red and silver striped wrapper around the plastic shell. It's fairly modern appearing and attractive, and no one would guess it's purpose without closer inspection. It could easily pass for a male grooming product such as a bottle of shampoo or bodywash.

Upon removing the base, the inner sleeve has a 1/2 inch opening with a plug to keep the lubricant in the cup. The inside of the sleeve consists of a variety of ripples and nubs, all designed to stimulate the penis. The sleeve also has a unique one way air valve designed to create suction. There is a hole on the top of the cup designed to control the amount of suction by covering it. However, I found it mostly to be super strong suction or none at all. The hourglass shape allows for a more comfortable gripping of the cup, but using my index finger to cover the suction hole while holding the cup at the same time was slightly awkward.

Given that this toy is designed to be disposable, I did not attempt to clean it for re-use. However, other reviews have mentioned that the cup can be washed out. Note that since this toy is made of TPE and is porous, it should not be shared unless a condom is used. A water based or silicone lubricant should be safe if additional lubrication is needed.

The first thing I noticed when I used this toy is how tight it feels. I consider myself below average in size and this was a snug fit. The material is soft and appears stretchy enough to accommodate bigger cocks, but expect an extremely tight fit if you are above average in girth. Also, since the total length of the cup is 6 inches, men of greater length will not be able to enjoy the full deep throat experience.

The suction is surprisingly strong (think Shop-Vac, and no, I've never tried that...). At maximum suction, I had a difficult time pulling this off my cock. I also did not care for the "sucking" sounds this toy created. Although this toy is marketed as having realistic slurping sounds, I found the sounds to be somewhat disgusting and a turn-off. I'm not sure about other women, but when my wife performs oral she does not alternately sound like a toilet plunger and very wet farts.

While experimenting with the cup, the straight in and out motion did not seem to have any variety in the sensations experienced. However, I personally found a combination of thrusting while twisting to be the most stimulating. Be careful to not thrust too deeply. I wasn't paying attention and tried to thrust all the way in only to be jabbed by the edge of the outer plastic sleeve. Talk about a mood killer (not that it stopped me from cumming).

Although the sensation of the sleeve wasn't bad, I can't really recommend it because it is such a poor value given that it is designed as a one time use product. I suppose a positive is that it would be good for travel since it is a self-contained unit. But then again, what guy travels without his trusty right hand? Ultimately, I found that the design attempts to mimic higher priced masturbation sleeves, but the reasons for the lower cost are pretty evident once I tried it.

Obviously since this was a disposable toy, I did not have the opportunity to try it again. However, it was the first masturbator that I tried and so I didn't have anything to compare it to. While the experience wasn't bad, my main issue was the cost for a disposable one time use product. I would probably change my rating to 3 stars now based solely on the experience.
