Nut In A Can. Open The Lid &...

I would hate to see the wrench that matches this nut! But I know which bolt goes in it, and how many screws it takes to put on. This is a perfect gift for you gear head to wear, display or get as a gag gift. It comes in a trendy metal can that is very discrete and makes a nice gift. As a matter of fact, I have seen this before in a business and thought it was a great decorative item. Red faced now. . . yep.

Use

Sorry to say, I was a bit confused when we got the Grinder in the mail. I opened the can and started laughing...hysterically! The local parts store has this on display as a paperweight! I am very red faced for the employees there, as they have no idea what the Grinder really is, but I guess you could say it is a great gift...for everyone!I certainly am not telling them what the grinder is really for! (Can you imagine, I have a hard enough time as a female ordering parts for her classic truck!)

This cock ring is very classy and would make a perfect gift for the gear heads, either to wear or display. Cock rings are used to prolong and enhance your erection and when they are styled they can add to the eye candy a wife gets beforehand. I would recommend removal before penetration or use with vibrating toys.

Since this is a male oriented toy, my husband is helping with the review. We feel this is a ring for advanced users, the weight and use makes this a bit unwieldy for the inexperienced. There are no directions, it is fairly self explanatory, but some people could be a bit confused as to the actual use of a nut that is threadless. The tin it comes in is the ultimate in discretion, so unless the whistle is blown, they might never know.

Material / Texture

The Grinder is made of Stainless Steel, which is a material used frequently by the Gear Essentials company. It comes in a very nice, discrete black metal tin with velvet style lining. There is no odor or taste, it is not adjustable - obviously, and as far as I can tell, comes only in large.

The inside has been ground perfectly smooth and it has rounded edges for comfort. There are no seams or other details inside that would be uncomfortable. My husband used a bit of water based lube for application around his shaft and balls. This can be chilled or lightly heated for a bit of temperature play.

The exterior is shaped to resemble a nut, (from a hardware store, not the kind you eat), and is made to look like brushed aluminum. This is not a pleasant texture for partner penetration, and does make an awful noise when it comes into contact with a bullet or other vibrator. A bullet and soft cock ring was tried as a go-between for penetration, but we could not make it work without discomfort and unusual noise.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The exterior is nut shaped and the interior has been rounded on the edges and ground smooth for your comfort. There is a bit of weight to the Grinder, about 3 ounces, and it is made for larger men. The internal diameter is 2 1/8" around by 3/8" wide. The tin it comes in is about an inch tall and measures 3" diameter.

There is an upraised G with cogs on the lid and the word gear essentials circles the base. The tin is black with silver lettering and design. Very stylish and discrete, again a great gift item.

The Grinder is easy to put on pre-erection for ball and shaft fit, but became uncomfortable during erection. I had to remove it and use it on my shaft only for fully erect state. The weight was a bit much when used only on the shaft. I tried penetration with my wife and that was short lived, she could feel the edges of the ring, we tried it with a soft ring and bullet as a buffer but that was noisy and also uncomfortable for us. This would be great for other men who enjoy a tighter fit and a bit of weight.
    • Can fit over both shaft and testicles
    • Fitted - must measure before purchase
    • May be too tight for some

Care and Maintenance

The Grinder is soap and water washable and for added cleanliness I also used a toy cleaner on the interior. The stainless steel makes this a totally safe ring material. I store it inside its own tin, I have thought about displaying it in the garage, but my wife won't let me, and have boiled it just for curiosity, worked great for sterilization.

Follow-up commentary
This cock ring just did not work for me, but it is a very high quality and nice looking ring. The packaging makes it a great gift idea. This was a good product for me to use while semi-erect, but care had to be taken with removal and the weight was unpleasant.

I would recommend this for anyone who like a bit of weight and style. It is very stylish and good looking, just not for me.

Interesting change in perspectives going through this review. Was removal from the shaft and testicles at a semi-erect state accomplished without difficulty? Thanks for the review.

Removal was a bit difficult, we waited for him to go down a bit and then slid it off with extra lube.
