One Time Use Only
The Durex Play Vibrations Connect is a condom/cock ring set that was designed for someone on the go, in the moment, and looking for a one night stand.

Pros
Safe, clean, easy.
Cons
Battery dies after 20 minutes. Non-reusable.
I'll say right now that I understand this package of cock ring and condom. I understand the circumstances one could be in to use it. On the go? Want it for a quickie? Want it for a one night stand? Want a toy you can use and then throw away? This is a package deal that screams instant pleasure and one time use. If you're not interested in toys to keep but instead want something you can use on the fly, the Durex Play Vibrations Connect is right up your alley.
I'm married and both my partner and I are monogamous, we’re also not interested in preventing pregnancy so the Extra Sensitive Durex Condom isn't beneficial to us. However, if you're having sex and aren't interested in having children or catching something funky, the fact it's already boxed up with the cock ring makes it an easy sale. Condoms are 99% successful in preventing pregnancy and the spread of HIV/AIDS; They're a must have in today's world of nothing but absolute uncertainties. The condom comes prelubricated, the lube wasn't goopy or runny, there wasn't an excess but seemed to be just enough to sustain through 20 minutes of sex. The condom was actually fairly roomy, in the past when we used condoms we found most were too small but this one fit him quite well with the reservoir tip encouraging more sensations to be felt. It was thin, and overall a pretty good condom, my husband said it was better than any other brand or type we've purchased before.
In the box there's a cock ring as well as the condom, it vibrates and is intended to last for 20 minutes. I tried removing the bullet from the cock ring when it died to replace it with another I had, but even the smallest mini bullet I had couldn't fit. It was also not powerful and neither my husband nor I were able to benefit from it's vibrations. While the protruding bullet seemed ideal to stimulate my clitoris, it did absolutely nothing for me more than tease. As it's not really a "ring" (it's not a full circle) it didn't act as an erection enhansor or keeper, all it really did was just grip his shaft during sex. It has two arms protruding from the center of the cock ring (where the bullet is) that stretch out to hug your cock. A positive is that it stayed put during sex, it didn't move around or deviate from the way we positioned it. I assume that this is made out of Latex as neither the box nor the Durex website said otherwise. (Searching google I found one retailer claim it was jelly.)
I'm not into things that are disposable, especially sex toys. When I buy something I buy it for keeps, however, this set is perfect for a person that's interested in a purchase that's intended to be used one time with one partner. Durex Play Vibrations Connect promotes healthy sex as you're unable to share the condom or the cock ring with multiple partners. This set is clean and safe (unless you're allergic to latex) but for someone on a budget, I find it's too expensive for something that's intended to go in the trash after 20 minutes.

Follow-up commentary

I'm not sure what I can add to this as a follow up seeing as it was a 'one shot' product, so does anyone out there have any questions about the Durex play Connect cock ring and condom combo?

Wow.....20 bucks for a disposable cock ring and a condom.... This one just isn't for me either...... Thanks for the review! =)
-
That was my thought. $20 bucks for one time. I don't think so.
-
But it doesn't even get you off? I mean, why not just buy the condoms (my bf and I love them too, btw)?
-
I'm right there with ya Devil, just way too pricey for me- however, others wouldn't have a problem dropping that kind of cash.
-
Epi, not in the least. It only came with one condom too. I recommend someone to go out and buy the 12 pack of these condoms instead of buying this set.
-
I give Durex credit for trying to branch out into the world of lubes and sex toys, but they all seem to be pretty miserable failures so far. They should stick with condoms.
-
Condoms is what they know and what they do best- let them leave the toys to everyone else!
-
i purchased a similar setup from durex, from walmart of all places, that was 5.98, that contained a cock ring (not one wit the vibrating bit sticking up like this but laying along the cock) 4 different condoms, and 4 packets of different lubes. weve never tried the ring before but i can definitly see the error in durex's ways with this...the set for 6 bucks isnt a bad deal if your looking to test a few different things and not spend a ton. A sample pack per say, but the whole throw away toy kinda bummed me out. Seems silly
-
Ya know I think I have only seen this once in a store...a Walgreens I believe. Do they still sell it?
-
too bad it's not long lasting.
