A long time staple of skeezy porno shops and strange smelling sex aids is the penis extension - some sort of extension that can add length, width and/or texture to the wearer's penis. Until the ride on, these toys were made of latex or amorphous materials and weren't exactly pleasant to look at.

Enter Vixen Creations with the Ride On: a strapless male strap-on made of beautiful Vixen silicone.

The Ride On is a penis extension, yes, but it can do so much more. Make your penis bigger and more textured. Use it to perform when exhaustion or whiskey have stepped into the evening, when you want to go for a second round, or when you just want an experience that is a little different. Use it on your hand to made an ultimately maneuverable hand held dildo. Slip it on a vibrator to make a vibrating dildo. The Ride On is versatile.

The Ride On is made of pure silicone that is of the standard Vixen quality. It is soft and supple with plenty of cushion and give. It is not overly thick or dense - as it is a sleeve of sorts, and thus feels quite floppy and squishy in hand. The back loop and first two thirds of the shaft are quite thin. The silicone acts as a shell, and the tip of the Ride On is a solid dildo that feels soft and fleshy when warmed to body temperature. The loop that gets stretched over the testicles is surprisingly stretchy, and the whole thing can be inserted with ease. The texture is smooth on the interior, but is nice and ridged on the exterior. It feels comfortable to the wearer in use, and makes for a nice soft dildo for the receiver.

This toy is unlike any other, because it is the only silicone penis extension available on the market, and it "straps-on" via a stretchy, flexible loop that pops into place behind the testicles. Size wise, the Ride On adds two and a half inches of length and a girth of 1 5/8". The Ride On is nine inches in length total, and will stretch and fit on a factory installed penis with a length of approximately seven inches from tip to 'just-behind-the-balls'. Beyond this length, I believe the Ride On may feel a bit to tight in the face of a strong erection. Additionally, the width of the augmented penis can't be too broad, or the Ride On will feel tight. Given how much the silicone stretches and the size of the 'sleeve', this would only be a concern to very, very broad men.

To put on the Ride On, Vixen suggests squeezing the sleeve and 'sucking' a flaccid, lightly lubed penis into its depths. This works well on some anatomies, but not all. The Ride On can also simply be curled back - inserted - and then rolled into place onto a flaccid penis. It certainly takes a bit of practice getting the Ride On into place - but once there, it is snug and delightful no matter what its put-on method is used.

There is a learning curve to having sex with the Ride On, it removes a level of sensation and sensory feedback to the wearer, while putting a cushioned layer of inert silicone all around the penis. The result is a bigger "stick" with less feedback - well, to be fair, I have been told it is mostly a different kind of feedback. This is interesting to me, as I myself have used female strap-ons, and I am familiar with the 'feeling by-proxy' learning curve associated with using a silicone cock. It's a learning curve that is fast to conquer, and the end result is a lot of control - but this extension does require a slight relearning of sex skills.

As a silicone toy, the Ride On can be sanitized with a good boil, a trip through the dishwasher, or a soak in bleach solution. It is compatible with water and oil based lubes - but not silicone.
