When a cock ring is more than just a ring

The Beginner C-Sling is a new version of the original Cock-Sling and is more approachable for those new to cock rings (especially those made of firmer (not stretchy) materials). The toy extends past the ring to provide pressure on the perineum which can be felt during use, including during thrusting. Being silicone, the C-Sling is durable and easy to care for. Once on, the ring is mostly comfortable, with the exception that the size of the ring makes it less comfortable to wear while seated.

Use

The Beginner C-Sling is a new version of the original Tantus Cock Sling. Slightly larger and made of a matte silicone, the new Beginner C-Sling is easier to use.

The C-Sling falls into a particular niche. Due to the larger, beginner-friendly internal diameter, the ring must be worn around both the cock and balls to be effective. While other types of cock rings may be stretchy enough to accommodate both cock-only and cock-and-ball uses, the C-Sling is not sufficiently stretchy to allow this. The C-Sling is also unique in its design, which features an extension of the ring intended to be worn pointing backwards, to stimulate the user's perineum. The term sling may be a misnomer as the device is not actually designed to support the wearer's cock.

Material / Texture

The Beginner C-Sling is made of a firm, matte-finish silicone. Being a Tantus product, it is premium platinum-cured silicone. The material is smooth to the touch and has little drag. There is also no odor.

As mentioned earlier, the C-Sling is made of a relatively firm silicone which, while flexible, does not stretch much. While most surfaces of the Sling are smooth, the edges have seams, including on the inside of the ring. However, the seams are not particularly noticeable while in use.
    • Firm
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The internal diameter of the Beginner C-Sling is about 2" (note that the product specifications refer to the outer diameter of the ring). As most males are less than 2" in diameter, most will be unable to use this as a cock-only ring. Instead, the design of the C-Sling is aimed at use as a cock-and-balls ring, where one's testicles are inserted through the ring, followed by one's penis. Once everything has been worked through the ring, the balls are pushed forward, lifting one's cock up slightly, and enhancing one's bulge if you are wearing the ring under clothing.

Though the C-Sling is large enough to easily insert all your junk, the firmness of the silicone requires that you be soft to get in. Having any degree of erection will make it difficult to get the ring on all the way. Once on, the C-Sling is quite comfortable. The tongue puts a nice pressure on the perineum, and the edges are well-rounded to make them comfortable against the skin. The large size of the C-Sling may make it uncomfortable to sit with, unless you keep your legs spread. This may be a consideration if you plan to wear the C-Sling out.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The C-Sling's perineum-stimulating extension distinguishes it from many other styles of cock ring. It provides a subtle but pleasurable pressure on the perineum during use, which can be manipulated by how you hold your legs together. Thrusting while wearing the C-Sling provides a pulsing pressure, and can enhance one's orgasm as it stimulates the base of the penis.
    • Comfortable during use
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

Made of Tantus's platinum-cured premium silicone, the C-Sling is easily cared for. Water and oil-based lubes are compatible with the material. The silicone is also easily cleaned. Soap and water removes any leftover lube or bodily fluids, and the material can then be sanitized if desired, either by boiling or soaking in a 10% bleach solution. It is also dishwasher safe in the sanitize cycle (no detergent) if you need to clean several other toys at the same time.

The C-Sling can be stored in its plastic clamshell packaging, or by itself to save on space.

Packaging

The C-Sling comes in a recyclable plastic clamshell, with a paper insert describing the toy and its use. Particularly helpful is that the reverse of the paper includes directions on how to get the ring on, along with small sketches to visually demonstrate the process.
    • Good for storage
    • Recyclable

Personal comments

Please remember to use caution when using cock rings. It is recommended that they not be worn more than 20-30 minutes at a time, with an hour between uses. Numbness, pain, or skin color change may indicate that one's circulation is being overly-restricted, and a break may be needed. Since this is a firmer ring, you will need to lose your erection before removing the ring; be patient.

Experience

I enjoyed this cock ring. In my opinion, it is much more pleasant than the stretchy-style cock rings, most of which are also harder to clean and care for than this one. It gave me just enough compression to make the veins in my cock bulge slightly and to make orgasm more intense. I also enjoyed the styling of the C-Sling. Viewed with my legs spread, it's something of a fashion accessory, reminiscent of a dickey collar.

The product page is listing outside diameter on a cock ring? That is useless information. Very good of you for pointing that out and giving us the inside diameter. Thanks for the great review.
