The Tor II by LELO is a redesign of their original Tor vibrating cock ring. The new version boasts 100% more powerful vibrations than the original. As toys, vibrating cock rings perform several functions. The stretchable silicone ring allows users to wear it around the shaft, the shaft and balls, or around just the balls depending upon personal preference. Cock rings function to increase erections and to prolong orgasm. As a general rule, cock rings should not be worn for longer than 30 minutes at a time with two hours between each use. The Tor II also adds in powerful vibrations and multiple patterns to pleasure both partners. The vibrating ring can be enjoyed with a partner, or solo by attaching it to your favorite dildo.

The Tor II is covered in silicone that is non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex free and phthalates free. Although the velvety texture helps to reduce drag, users may find a small amount of lube will help with putting the ring on. LELO recommends only using water base lubricants with the ring. If you prefer to use silicone-based lubricants, be sure to perform a spot test first to ensure compatibility. The silicone does not completely surround the vibrator, and a plastic surface is exposed on the underside. The silicone is soft and supple to the touch. The ring portion stretches with some difficulty at the maximum allowable diameter.

The basic design of the Tor II is similar to other luxury vibrating cock rings in that it contains a small vibrating motor with a stretchable silicone ring. The Tor II measures 2-1/4” in length, 1-3/4” wide, and 3/4” thick at maximum dimensions. The internal diameter of the ring measures 1-1/4” and can stretch to a maximum of 2-1/2”, which should accommodate most sizes. The ring can be worn around just the shaft, around both the cock and balls, or on the scrotum around the balls only. Comfort level when wearing the ring will vary by size, personal preference, and the amount that the band is stretched. The more the band is stretched, the tighter the fit will be. The Tor II is reasonably lightweight and not very noticeable when worn during use. However, it may cause some discomfort in certain positions with deep thrusting, as the vibrator portion of the ring is firm and unyielding.



The strap portion of the ring is a thin band of silicone that has a lip on either side, forming a shape similar to a car tire. When stretched, the band becomes very thin and has a tendency to roll on itself easily that can result in some pinching. Also, the edges of the band can still be felt, resulting in uneven pressure being applied. The inner channel of the ring extends up towards the vibrator. This creates a space between the ring and vibrator that may also pinch, particularly when the ring is worn around both the cock and balls. There are multiple seams on the body of the vibrator and around the ring, though none of these are noticeable nor do they interfere with use.

Two buttons on either side of the vibrator control the power functions of the Tor II. Depress and hold the (+) key for 2 seconds to turn on the ring. Each press of the (+) button increases the power level. The button is not always responsive despite an audible click, but there appears to be a total of 10 power levels available. You can also hold down the (+) button and it will automatically escalate to the highest power level. At the lowest level, the vibrations are a mild flutter. At the highest level, the vibrations are powerful although slightly buzzy. Holding the ring in your hand on the maximum power level results in tingling and eventual numbness.

Once at the highest power level, the vibration patterns can be accessed by holding the (+) button down for 2 seconds. The Tor II offers 5 different patterns besides the constant pattern. The various patterns are only available at the highest power level. When scrolling through the patterns, the constant pattern is not available.

The Random pattern is just that, a random combination of the other patterns available, including constant. For the most part, it is reminiscent of a sneaker tumbling in a clothes dryer, random and completely unpredictable.



Pressing the (–) key on the opposite side will return the ring to the constant pattern and each successive press will decrease the power until the ring turns off. The buttons are easy to press, although as mentioned previously, the (+) does not appear to always be responsive. The buttons are actually depressions but can be found easily by touch because there are corresponding raised symbols on each. Pressing and holding both buttons together will lock the device to prevent accidentally turning it on during travel. Pressing both buttons together for 2 seconds again will unlock the device for use.

The charging port is located below the (–) button and is an open port. The charger plugs easily into the port and an indicator light displays red while it is charging. The indicator light changes to white when the toy is fully charged. The Tor II takes 2 hours to charge fully and a full charge lasts for approximately 1.5 hours of use.

Cleaning the Tor II is relatively simple given that it is waterproof and made of silicone. Routine cleaning can be accomplished using either a toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and water. The device can be sanitized using a 10% bleach solution when necessary. The toy should not be subjected to extreme temperatures, such as boiling, because of the electrical components. There are a few areas that require additional attention to be sure it is cleaned properly. The charging port is an open socket that can potentially harbor lube or water. The silicone coating on the Tor II does not completely encase the vibrator. On the underside of the ring, the vibrator is partially visible. There is a seam where the silicone is glued to the vibrator that should also be cleaned carefully for any residue. After cleaning the Tor II, be sure the charging port is free of water before recharging the device.

The velvety texture of the silicone does not attract lint as with most silicone toys. Any lint or hair can easily be removed by rinsing the ring off prior to each use. LELO includes a small drawstring pouch that is convenient for storing the ring. The pouch is made of a satiny material, and helps to protect the ring from dust and unwanted contact with other toys. It would have been nice if the pouch were slightly larger to accommodate the charger at the same time. With multiple rechargeable toys, it’s easy to confuse chargers, especially when the charger does not identify the company name.

The secondary packaging for the Tor II consists of a cardboard box that is black with the company name in silver on the front. It’s very simple and elegant. The back of the box contains a picture of the toy on a white background, along with a brief description including features in small print. The box is fairly discreet in that a quick glance would be unlikely to determine the purpose of the contents. The font is extremely small and would require close examination to be able to actually read the information.



The internal packaging consists of a box made of sturdier cardboard. The box is completely black with the company name faintly etched on the lid. Removal of the lid reveals the Tor II secured in a custom sized foam cut out for protection. Next to the toy is a flap that conceals the charger, instruction manual, warranty information, storage pouch, and personal moisturizer sample. Although the box is tasteful and would last with some care, it is not really needed for storage and is best recycled.

Although the Tor II seems to be a well thought out toy, it just did not work well for us for a few reasons. I enjoy wearing a tight cock ring (I typically wear a 1-3/4” steel ring) but the Tor II was uncomfortable for me. It was a combination of the tightness but also with how thin the band became when stretched. The pressure applied over this narrow strip of silicone was not comfortable. As discussed above, the ring also pinched me. When worn over both the cock and balls, the gap where the strap meets the vibrator portion tended to catch a piece of skin, which was an unpleasant experience. The controls were not the most convenient and I didn’t like that one of the buttons wasn’t always responsive. I would have also preferred a third button to access the vibration patterns. It seems odd that the patterns are only available once the ring is on the highest power setting. Experiences may certainly vary between individuals.
