Sex Secrets of an American Geisha - book discontinued by Hunter House Publishers - review by thornrose

The author of Secrets Of An American Geisha is Py Kim Conant who has written three other books in Korean. Ms. Conant has a biweekly column in the Daily in Southern California. She lives is Los Angeles.
I, personally, have never read any thing by this author before so I cannot tell if this is just a poorly written book or if the author is just normally dull.

The book is supposed to be be a self help guide to finding "a good man" but really it depicts men as weak, and women as sex slaves. The author gives the impression that to successfully please a man you must always say yes to sex, even if you have just given birth! A woman should always lways suck his cock with out being asked. Now, I get that men like sex, especially oral sex, but doing it all the time like she says sounds like it would eventually become boring and maybe even painful.
The author is quick to assert that you should not have to change yourself but you should make these changes because it's the only way to get and keep a man.
I'm sorry, Ms. Conant, but I am a busy woman who loves to read, watch TV, and even play video games. Two of her tips were to stop reading so much, and get rid of your TV! I do not know a man that would be happy with that choice, heck my man loves games, anime, sports, or just watching tv for no real reason.
I have no clue who would like this book unless you are so desperate for a man that you would read, and possibly try this crap.
Any women who is having trouble finding a man or keeping the one they have happy needs to really take a step back and treat her lover with respect, and befriend him. In my experience no man wants a woman who will give up everything she loves for him, a man who loves you wants you to be your own person!

I love the cover with the faded geisha in the back and burlesque dancer in the front. The gold makes for a beautiful book cover. The cover is safe for work and this book could be read in the living room.

Well this is not something I would tell my friends to read to help them in life, but it could be a good joke later. I really just want to burn it and I wish I had never read it.

I did not make it though the book all the way. I try but one secon almost made me sick and all of her point going back and fourth with each other. Keep your point in one way or another. I really just want to burn this book but I will try to finish it but it really sucks.
