Great Gspot Book.

An excellent book for those looking to get started squirting or exploring the gspot. Taormino makes sure to include all the necessary information in easy to understand terminology. You don't need a working knowledge base to enjoy the book but it isn't so beginner friendly that it loses its appeal for the more advance readers either.
Published:
Pros
Easily understood info, beautiful pictures, very inclusive of all types of people/experience levels
Cons
Not a lot of squirting chapters.

I feel like I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you first that I love Tristan Taormino. It is more than love actually, I respect her. I think she is one of the best if not THE best sex educator out there. So even though this is not my first gspot/squirting book, I knew that I to read it because it was hers.
This book isn’t very public friendly though. Beyond being a little too big for easy grab-and-go reading, the cover has a prominently written “gspot orgasms” and an underwear clad female’s midriff to upper thighs. Not to mention every chapter minus the written erotica ones have multiple NSFW pictures. Some of the pictures have solo females or couples demonstrating positions or showcasing toys talked about. All the pictures are graceful and never obscene, so it shouldn’t upset anyone with delicate sensitivities. This is definitely a high quality paperback book. The cover is thick and so are the pages. The pages are like the thick pages you would expect to see in a coffee table book.

The book has 13 chapters as well as an introduction, epilogue, and resource guide. Three of those chapters are erotic stories by well known erotica writers (Alison Tyler, Rachel Kramer Bussel, and Valerie Alexander). The book is 160 pages total. The chapters that are not erotica are an average of 10 pages, interspaced with photos and quotes from normal people. The quotes were always fun to read, especially when a well known sex blogger I read religiously was quoted. This is much quicker and easier than other gspot/squirting books I’ve read.

I started my journey into gathering gspot/squirting information well over a year ago, so none of this information was really new to me. I will say that I wish I had read this book first. It doesn’t rely heavily on medical terms or for you to a working knowledge in any of the topics it discusses. It is an easy book to pick up and put down. Not to mention it is always a plus when you don’t feel like you are reading a textbook. The information here is accessible and easy to understand. I’ve felt like other books intimidate me almost, this one doesn’t.

My biggest disappointment was that 11 chapters dealt with gspot orgasms or erotica, only 2 dealt with squirting. Squirting is more of my personal interest and with it being prominent in the title I was expecting more. I do realize that the two subjects go hand-in-hand, but I would have liked to see a more equal split. I will say that the two squirting chapters were very inclusive and non-judgmental. The whole book is actually. Taormino says first that whether or not you squirt doesn’t make your orgasm any more or less valid or good.

Overall the book is fantastic. It is easy to read and understand plus it is very inclusive of whoever the reader is. The makes it a fantastic read for newbies to gspot orgasms or squirting. Taormino’s professionalism and well written book means that those who have been to this rodeo could still enjoy the read even without gaining much information.

Nice info about the book! If it were more discrete, I'd be interested in reading it. I've not read anything by that author before, but have a book on it's way written by her! I sure hope I enjoy it as much as most people have. From the sounds of it, she's a very intelligent author! Thanks for the info on this one.

Nice review. I'm surprised there wasn't more talk about squirting.
