This book, The Ultimate Guide to Orgasm for Women is intended for all women. You can be a virgin or be very experienced in sex; this book is meant to help everyone. The writing style of this book is very easy to follow and it doesn't read like boring, medical dribble. Nor does it read like a self-help book or make you feel super lame for reading it.

The advice in this book is aplenty. Everything from solo orgasm to couple, to group is in this book. As well as the many different kinds of orgasm, and different feelings and description of orgasm. Everything from very spiritual and scientific is in here to help you understand exactly what an orgasm is.

One of the best parts of this book is that it is brimming with quotes from real women and men. They talk about specific experiences and feelings. Straight women, bisexual women, lesbian women, and even straight men give their own stories to this book as a way to help you understand that what everyone experiences is different.

You can read this book anyway that you want, as is said in the beginning of the book. You can read it just for the personal stories and quotes, or you could read it just for the advice. You could start right in the middle, or you could read it cover to cover.

I have chosen to read the book cover to cover so that I can get a more general feel for it. Reading it this way can actually get a little tedious as a lot of it starts to repeat or start to sound a little too out there at times. However, that should definitely not distract from the fact that you can get some great advice out of this book.

I suggest that you page through the book before you really dive into it. See what catches your eye and read that. Read a little at a time and try not to gobble it up like a novel. It's really not meant to be read that way and is meant to help you and can be a great reference tool when different situations arise in your bedroom life. I will admit that I have not read the entire book, but I have paged through and read snippets out of so much of it that I feel like I already have a better handle on my own experiences and the experiences of my girlfriend whom I originally purchased the book for.

It may seem silly at first, but the first thing the book dives into is the basics about the female reproductive system. It is even complete with a hand-drawn diagram of the reproductive system. I honestly learned a lot of things from the first chapter of the book that I never learned in my sex ed class in junior high. Here I was thinking that I knew my own system pretty well, but this book showed me that I still had a lot to learn.

By reading the quotes from other people, I have been able to better pin-point exact moments in my orgasm, and describe the feelings of them better. I've also done a few "experiments" after reading certain experiences quoted in the book to see if that's how I can describe the moment for myself as well.

The book even goes so far as to open up about vaginal fisting and the feelings it evoked in the people who were interviewed for the book. You can also get advice on how to channel your energy into achieving better orgasm, and even to experience spiritual or out-of-body orgasms. That's something I'd like to see if I could ever achieve. Toward the end, the book gives you more advice on relationships and people in committed sexual relationships.

All in all, this book is a good guide for women of any age and any sexual experience whether it be none or quite the advanced user. I believe it best to find what is useful for you in the book and what you can really relate to rather than trying to read it from beginning to end, or else you might find yourself in a position where you are left wondering if the author really knows what she's talking about. She really does and her words and the stories of those interviewed are great for anyone to learn from.

So, I was a little iffy on this book when I originally wrote the review. I will admit that I haven't read through much more of the book, however, it has now been passed around to a few of my female friends since I purchased it and it has been a help to all of them in either a small way or big way. This book is still great for anyone either as a beginner wanting to explore her body, a couple, or someone who is more advanced and looking for another way to experience orgasm. It really is a must on all shelves if you are serious about wanting to learn more about your body and orgasm.

Thanks for a great review of what looks like an indispensable book - which somehow, has been discontinued.

It does seem that it has been discontinued, how unfortunate, but I bet it can be found on another site, too.
