A great introduction to female sexuality and orgasm. The authors in this book have presented a very well-researched text on the female body, the female anatomy and the female orgasm. As someone who is always looking for new ways to help my wife achieve and increase the power of her orgasms, I found this book to be a great help.

A softcover book that is almost 300 pages long, the cover strikes you. With the button that says I <3 Orgasm on it certainly stands out on a bookshelf, and I have seen it in major book retailers and had noticed the cover long before I ordered it from EdenFantasys. Every chapter is divided up into a topic, such as oral sex tips, masturbation tips, safe sex, LGBT and general basics. Within each chapter the authors do a good job of giving you an overview of the topic of the chapter. While no chapter goes into minute detail, you do get a good feel for each topic before moving onto the next chapter. There are diagrams and charts and other visual aids, but this is not a position book with lots of photos.

The authors are researchers and have presented to numerous groups and colleges about female sex/orgasm. So this book could have been very dry if they would have stuck to an academic style. But they livened up the book with tales about their presentations, student comments and surveys, and stories from their own experience. This helped make the authors easy to relate to for me and also gave me some different perspectives as I was reading the information. The authors cover the gamut of topics, if it has to do with female pleasure or the female orgasm, I think it is contained in the book. Descriptions of the female anatomy, masturbation tips, safe sex tips, oral sex tips, instructions for toy use are all included.

Because of the wealth of topics that they are covering, there is not a lot of detail on any specific topic. If you are looking for detailed instructions about performing oral sex, or masturbation or the female anatomy, there are other texts/books that you can consult. This gives you the overall sense of what female pleasure is like and how to help the female in your life (or yourself!) find and achieve pleasure. I could easily see this being used in a sexuality course in a university.

A great book for learning about the female orgasm, not just the physical aspects, but what goes into it mentally as well. We've also found that it was great as a discussion starter in our relationship about orgasms and the expectations with them.
