I Love Female Orgasm - erotic book by Marlowe&Company - review by MuffysPinguLove

I acquired this book after attending one of Dorian Solot, and Marshall Miller's presentations titled "I love female orgasm." Dorian was a smart, friendly, and outgoing woman willing to discuss everything from how she regarded sex when she was growing up, to her first orgasm, and even when she first realized she had a lump in one of her breasts and that it was cancer.

Marshall stood over to the side a bit and allowed Dorian to do most of the talking, but added in the occasional comment and male prospective to her information. They told the audience that the presentation originally started out as a women-only event which Dorian taught on her own and was designed to make women comfortable to open up about their sexuality. They found though that many guys were trying to sneak in, or requesting to be allowed to sit in, so they reconfigured it to include men, but also to keep the comfortableness that the female-only version had.

The book also has the same friendly conversational quality that the presentation had, and makes the reader feel like they are having an intimate conversation with a friend. The fact that the book was written by a man and woman also adds to its appeal, because you get to see things from both of their views.

The book is comprised of 11 chapters:

8 Lets Hear It for the Boys: Men and Female Orgasm.
9 Coming With Pride: Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Straight-but-Adventurous Orgasms.
10 Knocking at the Back Door: Advice for the Anally Curious.
11 Preventing Bugs and Babies: Safer Sex and Birth Control.

As the table of contents shows, it covers a variety of different subjects, and has a little something for everyone. The writing style was excellent; Dorian and Marshall are friendly authors who mix comedy, facts, personal stories, and even polled information into their book. Not only was the book informative, but because of the writing style it was enjoyable to read as well. The book is obviously geared first and foremost towards women, or those who identify themselves as women. That being said, it has something for everyone. It has a wonderful chapter for the "Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer" audience as well. It even has a great chapter for men to read about how to help the women in their lives achieve orgasm.

A portion of the proceeds from the book are donated to breast cancer, and you can get great T-shirts on their website that say "I Love Female Orgasm."

Personally my favorite chapter was chapter three: So You Want to Have an Orgasm. I thought this was a great chapter on achieving an orgasm whether it is your first time, or your a seasoned pro. It also contains some useful tips and techniques! I would definitely suggest attending one of their "I Love Female Orgasm" presentations if you ever get the chance!
