The Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex Positions|The Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex Positions is a delightful little book that packs a bunch of exciting sex positions and sexual tips into a small and portable format. I must admit, when I saw the price of this tiny book, I was dubious that it would be worth the cost. After reading the book, however, I think it offers more useful tips for exciting sex than many books 3 or 4 times its size!

Despite its small format, the book is beautifully presented. It is hardcover, with a dust jacket. The pages are all done in a nice, glossy format, and it is full of color photos—explicit, but tastefully done—of a range of racially mixed and attractive couples. The photos are “modern” (the book was printed in 2005), but seem like they will age well without becoming dated too soon.

The book breaks the positions down into several categories like “Man on Top,” “Woman on Top,” “Standing,” and “Rear Entry.” There are also several other very interesting sections like “Sexplosion” (focusing on simultaneous and multiple orgasms), “Kama Sutra” (with positions from that manual simply and effectively explained), and “Advanced Lovers Only” (for the truly adventurous and/or flexible!). The book also contains sections on “Anal Sex” and “Simultaneous Oral Sex Positions.” Quite thorough for its size!

Where I think this book really stands out, though, is in the description of each position. Each position starts with a simple explanation of “How To Do It” and most contain a helpful photograph. There are then sections describing both “What’s Right With It?” and “What’s Wrong With It?” which detail the good and bad points of each position—who might like it and why, and reasons why it might not work for you. The “What’s Wrong With It?” sections, in particular, are extremely helpful, and cover issues from flexibility, mobility, and depth of penetration to height discrepancy between partners (my husband is 6’2” and I am only 5’3”), length of the man’s penis, and the weight and build of the partners. Excellent information! Finally, each position finishes off with “Variations On the Theme,” which offers a huge range of useful tips on how to make the most of the position. These tips include information like how the position can be effective for homosexual couples, how you can alter the position to be more comfortable, and ideas for making the most of the position or making it more exciting (positions that are awesome for showing off sexy lingerie|Sexy Lingerie, positions that lend themselves to bondage ideas, or positions that just beg for slathering yourselves in baby oil).

The Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex Positions packs a wealth of sexual information and ideas between its little covers. This is one sexual instance where size definitely does NOT matter!

Amazingly enough, considering its size, this is one of the best sex position manuals I've yet come across. I've bought it as a gift and loaned out my own copy. This tiny volume is portable and discreet, yet packs a wealth of information between its covers. Don't be put off by the small size--this book is worth every penny!
