The New Bottoming Book = My New Favorite Book

The New Bottoming Book is written by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardey. From what I read, they both seem like great people, and I would love to meet both of them. I found that they were quite funny at times in the book, but not to the point where I stopped taking it all seriously. They were also very serious at times, but not to the point that I stopped enjoying it. It all just balanced out perfectly. They talk about their personal experiences, and it makes it so much more real to read. I can't wait to read more things they've written.

The New Bottoming Book is directed toward people interested in learning about BDSM and bottoming, and people who are just starting to try it all out. It explains a lot of the basics, and a little of the more advanced things. The reason I say it's more for beginners is because it's things that an experienced player should already know. However, it's very entertaining, so even if you're a very experienced participant in BDSM, you may want to flip through it. You may even learn something. I know I did.

I love the writing style the authors decided to use too. They talk about themselves a lot, which I think makes it more personal and real feeling. They talk about experiences they have had as well as those told to them by friends or acquaintances. Some stories are cute, while others are rough and sexy. It kept my attention through the whole book.

The book goes through and explains all the basics of BDSM and being a good/better bottom. There's a section all about how to find a top and a section about the reasons you may want to be a bottom. I found a few reasons myself that I didn't even think of until I read more into them. There are sections on public play, and most importantly a section about safety. They really do cover everything.

I highly suggest reading this if you think you may want to be a bottom. I know I learned not only a lot about bottoming, but a lot about myself while reading the book.
