Bell nipple clamps by Spartacus - review by mdnght

Silver bells aren't just for Christmas anymore! The bell nipple clamps by Spartacus are amongst my favorite toys. They're made out of metal, and have little removable rubber nibs covering the ends to protect your nipples (or wherever else you want to put them). I've never tried removing them during use, but it can help during cleaning--just be careful not to drop them down the sink! Clean up is easy since all you have to do is wash them with warm water and soap, making sure you dry them thoroughly afterwards. While the rubber nibs are porous, I wouldn't be too worried about spreading bacteria, unless you get some kind of bodily fluids on them or use them on broken skin (which would probably agitate it further, so I don't recommend doing that).

The clamps are very adjustable, being about half an inch apart at their widest setting, although you can spread them a tiny bit wider than that if need be. They can provide anywhere from gentle pressure to an intense pinch, making these clamps suitable for beginners and "pain sluts" alike. (If it's not quite enough, taking off the rubber tips would make it more painful.) Beginners should be careful, since misuse can potentially cause some damage to the nerve endings in the nipples. (Like I did, with my other pair of clamps. Whoops.) Those new to clamps should not put them on too tightly or for longer than ten or fifteen minutes. If the skin begins to become discolored (turning blueish or purple), then the clamps should be removed.

The clamps are 3.75 inches long, which makes storing them easy. You can keep them in a plastic baggie so they don't get separated or lost. I keep them in the original package, since I have enough room in my drawer for the 7 inch box. The packaging is black and gray with the Spartacus logo on it, and features a clear front so you can see the clamps, making it not very discreet. The back has a little blurb about what the product is, and says that it's also available in black, with a chain, etc. It also says that it was assembled in the US.

The bells make a nice sound, but it can be a little hard to get them ringing during use. I found sudden movements to be more effective than simply walking around with them on. Thankfully, the clamps hold on nicely, so you don't have to worry about them slipping off when you're moving around, even if you don't have them on very tightly.

Overall, I'd say these clamps are pretty great, and definitely worth the money.

One of my favorite things about these clamps is that they don't have to be on too tightly in order to stay on. Since I hurt my nipples while wearing my other pair of clamps (they needed to be very tight or else they'd fall right off), they've been a lot more sensitive to pain and I can't handle anything that tight anymore. Thankfully, these clamps don't have that same problem, and I can use them without hurting myself too much.
