Citrus sweet

Venus body wash is a great start or end to any day. Apply some to a loofa (or washcloth), lather up, get clean and enjoy. There are many scents which means it can be enjoyed by men and women. Use it in the shower or in the bath, alone or with your partner! It gets your skin clean and leaves it feeling smooth and refreshed.

Those with allergy concerns should take a look at the ingredients list:
Aqua, Dead Sea minerals (see above), Cocoamide dea, Cocoamidopropyl betaine, Sodium lauryl sulfate, Glycerin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Methyl paraben, Propyl paraben, Imidiazolidinyl urea

The consistency is like any other shower gel I have tried- thick like a syrup. It does run, though slowly, so it doesn't stay in place much at all. It feels sticky at first on your fingers but adding water takes care of that, helping to lather it into rich bubbles. It does not feel greasy or oily and doesn't leave your tub feeling slippery. It pours easily.

There are many different scents to choose from. The one I'm reviewing is the Mandarin Mango. I honestly don't know what a mango truly smells like, but I can describe what I smell. It smells very sweet, juicy, and "citrus-y". It reminds me of a freshly peeled orange with a hint of melon. It smells fresh and fruity, like a summer-ish scent. It is strong but not headache inducing. If you want the scent to hang around then you should combine it with the matching lotion and/or mist.

The body wash does the job well. A quarter size or two is enough to get a great lather on a loofa. You can use a washcloth, though I don't find it to produce a rich lather like a loofa does. It really suds up and feels great on your skin. It leaves your skin lightly scented, smooth and moisturized. It absorbs well into the skin.

The plastic bottle is great when you have to squeeze the bottle when the product gets close to being gone. It is easy to pour out of the bottle due to the screw on cap. The label is tasteful and lists the ingredients on the back.

I love the rich, powerful scents that I have tried from the Venus line. The body was works well and feels great on my skin. The only thing I dislike is the price!
