Organic body souffle - lotion discontinued by Intimate Organics - review by Alicia

Intimate Organics body soufflé is a nice, thick moisturizer made with Certified Organic Extracts. It's paraben free, DEA frea, and it's purely vegan. What else can you ask for in a moisturizer? Have I mentioned that it's smooth as silk and smells delicious?? I have the Fresh Orange and Wild Ginger and I'm absolutely in love with the scent. It's called their "Energizing" scent and I have to say that it does have that get up and go feel to it. This isn't something I'd necessarily use before bed, but rather for when I get up in the morning or before going out of for a night. It smells just like summer to me, fresh oranges with the spice of ginger.

The cream is a bit shimmery, and it's got a slight golden orange tone to it. Once it's rubbed in though it does not leave your skin shiny or shimmery. This was good for my husband but I personally was hoping for a bit of shimmer. It does make my skin look dewy a bit though, young and vibrant. It's also a lot stronger of a scent when it first comes out of the tube then it is once it dries. Again, good for my husband but I wish it would be a bit stronger once it's rubbed in. You can still smell it, but it didn't take the place of a body spray or perfume for me. It's more a subtle scent that my husband can smell when close to me.

The directions on the tube say to apply to damp skin. It also rubs in nicely on dry skin but it soaks in especially nicely after a shower. I did try giving my husband a massage with this after we showered together one day and it did offer a nice 10 minute massage before it was fully rubbed in. I had to use quite a lot though to get it to last that long, as it's not really meant for massage. I am too in love with this product to use it up that rapidly and so we've since stuck to using this as a body moisturizer and sticking to longer lasting oils for massage. You can still make application of this soufflé sensual though, by rubbing it into each other's skin after a nice hot shower. Since the memory associated with scent can be pretty strong you can then remember the sexy application of the lotion later on during the day when the scent hits you.

Just be sure not to lick this deliciously scented cream. As edible as it smells it's not tasty on the tongue. You also shouldn't use this as a lube or anything since it contains glycerin. But, as long as you stick to your less sensitive areas this body soufflé is wonderfully moisturizing and keeps my skin soft and supple all day long. This comes from the shea butter, olive oil and mango butter that are amongst its ingredients. Even though shea butter and olive oil can sometimes be a bit greasy I didn't experience any kind of greasy residue with the body soufflé. It also isn't sticky or slimy on your skin even if you sweat with it on.

I still love my body souffle, and I'll need to be ordering more soon, because if it runs out before I have a new one I will cry! Body souffle feels wonderful on my skin and the scent carries pretty well during the day too. While body souffle isn't quite as magical on the feet as Foot Foreplay is, I have been able to use this on my feet in a pinch and it did a fairly good job as a foot lotion. Since my feet are usually pretty dry, this is a good example of just how moisturizing this lotion can be!

I think my only complaint about this product is that it should come in larger sizes. Like a big giant bottle with a pump, I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat!!
