Itchy & Scratchy show!

Wasn't worth the time to put batteries in it, other than for maybe a good foot scrubbing! Rather disappointing texture and seemed to fall apart a little.

Use

I got this as a bridal shower gift with a few other "gag gifts." Its intended use is as a shower type massager, but I wasn't very happy with the feel of it straight out of the bag. I set it aside and never really thought about it until my SO pulled it out of the bag one night. Needless to say, I wasn't excited to use it just by the feel, but did anyways.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of the sponge was terrible scratchy and hard. It doesn't really stay on the hard plastic basing either. Even with a silky soap on it, it stayed hard and rough. Dried out quickly after use though.

Taste / Aroma

Smelled like plastic out of the package, but that seemed to wash away after putting scented soap on it. It wasn't a strong smell or anything, it just smelled like anything that came from a store. Reminded me of a sponge that you would get from Walmart or Target.
    • Light smell

Performance

Soap washed out easily enough and dried out quickly enough, but didn't hold water well enough to make suds. Though I wasn't very happy with the vibrations, they did help the soap lather a bit easier. The sponge seemed to kind of separate from the plastic basing.
    • Dries up fast

Packaging

Comes in a simple plastic bag with instructions on how to insert the batteries.

Follow-up commentary
It's so scratchy, and it started to fall apart after I used it a few times. It still doesn't do much as far as vibrating goes. It's better to be used as a back cleaner.
