Use
The Toy Covers, by California Exotics Novelties, are non-lubricated sleeves made to be used to cover and protect vibrators during vaginal or anal use. Even though the intended purpose is vibrators, this can also be used on dildos or butt plugs to make cleanup easier, and keep everything sanitary.


Material
These toy covers are made of a natural rubber latex, manufactured in a ISO 9001 certified facility (When I did a search to determine what was ISO 9000, I found that the ISO 9000 family addresses "Quality management"; what the organization does to fulfil:

The customer's quality requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to
Enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives.")

There is no noticeable odor, and the latex is smooth and untextured.


Packaging
The toy covers come in a pink box with flowers on it--clearly marketing this as a women's product, even though men would find these covers useful as well. The box indicates that they're non-lubciated sleeves for small and slim toys, and in size four font it has some guidelines that you should read carefully before using the sleeves:

-Open the foil carefully so you don't tear the sleeve.
-Place the sleeve on the "pleasuring device" and unroll it, being careful not to snag it.
-Use each sleeve once, and use a new sleeve when swapping between the vagina or anus, or if sharing with a partner.
-Dispose of the sleeve carefully--and don't flush it down the toilet.
=Don't use oil based lubes
-This shouldn't be used as a condom for sexual intercourse.

There's also the demarcation that this is a novelty product for external use, only. Riiiiiiight.

The toy covers themselves come in a foil package that's branded the same way as the box--pink flowers and font cover it. The toy cover itself is pinkish purple, too.


Design/Shape/Size
These are shaped just like tiny condoms or finger cots. And by tiny, I mean TIIIIINY. This didn't fit on my Uma, my Goodfella or any of my standard sized dildos. I was able to get it onto my Color Tip Wand with much smushing. I would not recommend these for toys with a circumference of more than 3 3/4" or a diameter of more than 1 1/4".


Performance
It worked well as a cover, once I was able to find a toy I could use it with; they protected the toy well from lube and other bodily fluids, and they were easy to take off. However, I don't know that I'd purchase them again. Because they're unlubricated, you need to provide your own, which makes them a bit less convenient. The super small size, too, is a big problem since they'll work with a very small percentage of toys. I expected them to be slightly smaller than average toys, but never assumed they'd be THIS small.

I didn't experience issues with the toy covers rolling up, but if you try to pull it over something that's too large for the latex to really handle, it will roll up. I wouldn't recommend using these as a barrier for silicone toys used with silicone lube, for example, if the toy cover doesn't fully cover the toy, since there can be slippage.

The latex is thin, so they did allow texture and colour to be seen easily (though it was tinted slightly purplish) through the toy cover, which was a bonus.


Care/Maintenance
Because they're meant to be one use, when you're done just remove it from the toy, put it back into the tin and toss them out.

I still don't think these are worth the high pricetag; they're still too small for 90% of my toys and I still think condoms would be far more sensical as a protectice barrier.
