The Lover’s Paint Box|Lover's paint box - Body paint by KamaSutra was my first venture into the world of body painting, and I have to say it’s really fun. This paint happens to be edible chocolate body paint. You can’t go wrong mixing sex and chocolate.

The body paint comes in a cute little box decorated with typical Kama Sutra type drawings. It comes with three jars of paint (dark chocolate, white chocolate, and milk chocolate) and a paint brush. The first thing I noticed when I opened one of the jars was the alcohol smell, which kind of put me off. But it is chocolate, so I was still pretty excited to taste them anyway. I dipped my finger in each one, and unfortunately, the paint not only smells like alcohol, but it tastes like it too. Still, I decided I’d give it a chance in the bedroom.

This is where I changed my mind about the Lover’s Paint Box. First, I heated up the paints in the microwave so they were a bit easier to use. Then I had my husband lie back while I channeled my inner Picasso. One at a time, I painted each flavor onto the tip of my husband’s cock and licked them off. They spread easily, and he loved how it felt. Even though I don’t like the taste of alcohol, I didn’t really notice in the heat of the moment. With the saltiness from his excitement mixed with the chocolate, it was kind of like sucking on a chocolate covered pretzel. Yummy.

After I’d had enough pretzel, my husband tried the paints on me. He painted down my tummy with the milk chocolate and had a nice time of licking it off, though it got all over his face. Then, being as how he is a white chocolate freak, he painted my nipples with that flavor and slowly licked and sucked it off. I don’t know if I have ever seen him spend so much time on my nipples. He said it tasted more like s'mores than white chocolate, but he loved it regardless.

When we were done having our fun, I went to put the chocolates back in their box when I read the bottom of the box. The paints have to be refrigerated after opening. There aren’t exactly a lot of places to hide things in the fridge. Not only that, but it says that the box can’t be refrigerated. So, I put the jars in the door of my refrigerator and hoped no one goes looking for condiments any time soon. Then I rinsed out the paint brush with some warm water, and the chocolate came out fairly easily. Our bodies weren’t even sticky.

Slight alcohol taste and need for refrigeration aside, the Lover’s Paint Box is a good investment for any couple who likes chocolate and wants to add a little playfulness to the bedroom.

i love your chocolate pretzel reference ;)

so whilst trying them out how much of the paint did you use? and you said there was a slight alcohol taste, does it reduce the sweetness of the chocolate at all?

    good review !

I didn't have to use much, though my husband used more than I did. He loved the white chocolate. :) The alcohol taste doesn't really reduce the sweetness of the chocolate. It's just a bit distracting for me. But my husband didn't really seem to notice it much. I guess it just depends on who you are.

    Thanks for the comment!

I'm surprised by the alcohol flavor.  Kama Sutra products are usually good at avoiding synthetic or unpleasant flavors.  Still, sounds worth trying!

Why can't the box be refrigerated?

Hmm...that's a good question. I have no idea why the box can't be refrigerated. It just said on the box that it couldn't be, so I didn't do it. I just figure it's not good for the box somehow. But who knows. And thanks for the comments! :)

Awesome! I'm so glad these taste good and such. Although thanks for the heads up on the refrigeration. Guess we'll have to wait until my boyfriend's house mate moves out before we get this, haha!

Ha! I agree, the chocolate pretzel simile was excellent. I'm still uncertain about this type of play, however. It involved clean up and, like you said, it's not easy to hide. I think we'll stick to romantic dinners and naughty desserts! But it definitely sounds like something I'd like to try at some point.
