Matte Lip balm is meant to add moisture to your lips. Matte lip balm means that it adds moisture to your lips with adding the shine, so if you like a more natural look matte is ideal for you. This gloss will work as y our everyday lip balm or paired with your everyday color lip makeup. This lip balm comes in a 1/3oz container with a twist off cap.


There are a fair amount of ingredients in this lip balm, so be sure to look over it for in case you have an allergy. There are nut ingredients in this lip balm, so for those with nut allergies you will want to avoid this lip balm. The bottom of the container has a sticker that labels the ingredients.

Matte lip balm has got to be the thinnest lip balm I have ever seen. I would compare this lip balm with candle sweat. This lip balm is oily to the touch and somewhat greasy, but that doesn't last long. The gloss stays in place until it is absorbed. When the lip balm is in the container it is really thick and you have to swirl your finger around many times in order to apply even a minimal amount. This lip balm almost needs heated to thin it out some. The lip balm does not leave a sticky feel to your lips.

Others have described this smell as grape, but when I smell it all I smell is candle wax. This smell is overwhelming to me and almost sickening. I could hardly leave it on my lips long enough to test it out. The taste is the same for me. I am not a fan of this lip balms scent or taste at all.

This lip gloss goes on clear and doesn't leave any shine to your lips. It is absorbed into your lips really quickly and needs constant reapplying. This is a great lip balm for those who like a more natural feel and appearance, but this is not my ideal lip therapy. I can hardly get past the smell and taste, but I did wear this gloss for a day. I seem to constantly need to reapply because I like a thicker oily balm. Should you want to wash this balm off a dry cloth should work, but if not a damp cloth will.

Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil- extracted from the seeds off a sweet almond plant; it's used to condition the skin and add fragrance.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil- extracted from the the kernel of coconuts, but it is also know as the meat. It has a high level of Saturated fats. The purpose is as for hydration.

Beeswax- is a natural wax that comes from the bee hive of honey bees and is used as a thickening agent.

Persea Gratissima (Avacado Oil)- extracted from Avocados and used as a conditioner.

Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter- a fat that is from the seed of a Mangifera Indica; it's used to condition.

Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter- extract from Cocoa plant that is used as a skin conditioner.

Flavor- what is added to give scent and flavor.

Tocopheryl (Vitamin E)- a class of natural chemical compounds that are related to vitamin E; it's used as a conditioner.
