Splish Splash, givin' my cooter a bath

Sliquid Splash is an affordable and PH balanced feminine wash that gently cleans your lady bits without drying them out. The scents are light, not overwhelming, and won't clash with other fragranced body products. The wash can also be used as an all over body wash, though you might use up the 8.5 fl oz bottle much quicker that way.

Ingredients marked with an * are derived from coconut oil.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Sliquid Splash is a slick, opalescent bath gel much thinner than average body washes. It contains no granules, grains, or textures of any kind. With the wash being rather thin, it does run down skin quickly. It does not feel sticky or greasy and rinses completely away with water.

The plastic of the bottle is a bit firm, which requires a bit of squeezing to get the product out of the bottle. But I find that this helps to prevent squeezing out more product than one desires.

Taste / Aroma

The Grapefruit/Thyme wash smells quite good and is not overpowering at all. Thyme is part of the mint family, though when smelling the product, I can't really pick out the Thyme scent. All I personally smell is grapefruit. In the bottle and on skin, the scent is light and not overwhelming. After rinsing, I could not detect the scent at all on my skin. I could smell "clean", but that was about it.

This is an external use only product, do not ingest. I didn't taste this, neither should you.

Performance

If you were to only use the product as a feminine wash, the small bottle should last you for quite some time because only a very small amount produced a nice amount of lather to clean my naughty bits. The directions on the bottle state: "Freshen your shower or bath with a small amount applied to a wash cloth or fingertips. Cleanse intimate area, then rinse."

On first use, I squeezed about a dime-size amount onto a wash cloth, and after lathering with water, I realized that that was more than I needed. After cleaning my bits, the wash rinsed off completely and left me feeling clean and fresh. I also used this as a full body wash, and while it wasn't the greatest, it wasn't the worst either. It was a bit low lathering as a body wash, but it performed well and left my skin feeling clean. If you were to use this as an all over body wash product, the small bottle won't last as long as only using it as a feminine wash.

Packaging

Sliquid Splash comes in a firm, clear plastic bottle that holds 8.5 fluid ounces of product. The label on the Grapefruit/Thyme bottle is a pink grapefruit color and the front lists the name of the product and scent with a "Feminine sign" symbol inside a many-petaled flower. The back of the label lists the ingredients, "The Sliquid Promise", directions, and product description/benefits. The top of the bottle has a push-in cap, which can also be completely screwed off as well.

I have not noticed any leakage from the bottle. As for being travel-friendly; it is small enough to place into a travel bag and take with you (especially if you plan on using it as an all over body wash), but it can also be easily squeezed into a smaller, travel-size bottle if you wish.

Other than the label stating that this is a "gentle feminine wash", the bottle is discreet and rather girlie. One could easily leave it out with other bath and body products and I don't think anyone would pay it any attention. The bottom of the bottle also has the recycling symbol with the number "1" in the middle, which means that the plastic is very easily recycled.

Experience

I've never used any other type of "feminine wash" before, so I can't compare this to other similar products. But as this was my first of this type of product, I have to say that I was impressed. I have personally liked all of the Sliquid products that I have tried so far, and I had high expectations before even trying the wash. And I was not disappointed.

I have never had any problems with products containing glycerine or parabens (thus why I've never tried any other feminine washes), but I do have quite a few highly fragranced body washes that I really don't like using down south because of the amount of perfume they contain. Sliquid Splash is a nice alternative to plain soap and water, and its claims of removing odor causing bacteria definitely held up for me.

I tried a dime-size squirt on a wash cloth the first time, and using that only on my naughty bits, that was more than I needed because it lathered up quite nicely. As an all over body wash, I did need quite a bit more product and it performed adequately.

I've used this in the shower, by the sink just to freshen up my bits, and also during a "whore's bath" (as my grandmother would so fondly call it). For those who've never heard that term, basically (again, using my grandmother's words), it's just washing up the "pits, snatch and ass" by the sink or with a basin of water. If it's especially hot out and I don't feel like taking a full shower, or when I'm not all that dirty but still want to freshen up, that's the route I take... and of course I always chuckle as I remember what my grandmother called that.

Anyway, every time I've used the product, it always left me feeling very clean and, well, fresh. Not once did I have any reaction to the ingredients, scratchiness, dryness or anything else uncomfortable.

Now as for the "removing odor causing bacteria" claim, I was pleasantly surprised that that was actually true. Since the weather here has been quite unseasonably warm, being outside for any amount of time doing any activity easily produces sweat and its accompanying body odor. Anytime I had used the wash, I noticed that, while still a bit sweaty, my lady parts still felt basically "fresh and clean". I also used this right before exercising and was again pleasantly surprised that I still felt rather clean and didn't have any "sweaty pussy" odors.

I would absolutely recommend this wash not only to those who are irritated by glycerine, but to anyone and everyone! I really liked this product and will definitely always have a bottle on hand.
Follow-up commentary
I absolutely love this stuff! I currently have about a half bottle of this left, but I do frequently use this as a full body wash. I really like using this when the weather is very hot; you know, those days where you're barely out of the shower and you're already sweating and starting to stink before you're even toweled off. The fact that Sliquid Splash helps remove odor causing bacteria really comes in handy on those days. Definitely buying another bottle of this!
