For a Squeaky Clean Lady Area

Do you want your lady bits to be fresh and clean without having to worry about irritation from harsh soaps? This product may be just the thing for you. I'm very sensitive down there and it caused me no trouble at all. In the past, feminine washes have scared me off because they were loaded with ingredients which could cause irritation. This stuff, on the other hand, is what the perfect feminine wash should be.

Use

Sliquid Splash is an external feminine wash that leaves your lady parts super fresh, clean, and irritation free! It's an amazing feminine wash, but it can also be used all over your body as a normal body wash for smooth and silky skin. It can be used as a non-irritating bubble bath, as well. It's not just for ladies, either! Men can enjoy washing their man parts with something pH balanced for their lady.

The organic formula is free of the harsh chemicals found in other feminine wash products. It is also pH balanced to help you maintain a healthy ecosystem after washing away all of the dirty germs on your lady bits. Normally, excessive washing of the vagina or the use of harsh soaps can cause the delicate balance of vaginal flora to become disrupted which can lead to irritation, itching, and infections. None of those are fun, but don't we all appreciate a fresh and clean vagina? This stuff has your back in the fight against odor causing bacteria and won't make your system go haywire.

Let's take a look at the ingredients when compared with Summer's Eve Feminine Wash:

Sliquid Splash Ingredients:
Purified H2O, Sodium Coco sulfate, Coco betaine, Coco amide (derived from coconut oil), Sea salt, Citric acid, EGMS, Essential oil fragrances (if you chose a scent), DMDM hydantoin, FD&C red#40.

Summer's Eve Ingredients:
Water Purified, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Decyl Glucoside, Disodium Cocamphodiacetate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ammonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, FD&C Blue 1

So much of Sliquid's formula is derived from natural ingredients. Sea salt is wonderful for a ton of skin-related issues and is great to throw in the bath when you have vaginal irritation. Many of the ingredients are derived from coconut oil. The fragrance formulas are infused with essential oil instead of perfumes. (Those can cause irritation in those with sensitive skin.) Summer's Eve is full of chemicals and I'm not even sure what half of those things are, but I don't think I want them anywhere near my girl parts. If you have any sensitivities or just don't want to risk it, you're really well off with Sliquid Splash.

Obviously, this isn't something you wash inside your vagina with. It's fine for the outside, but don't go sticking it inside anything.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Sliquid Splash resembles most other body washes or shampoos in its consistency and texture. It's slightly thick, pretty slippery, and does foam up mildly when lathered. The click-top bottle, which is also similar to shampoo bottles and other shower products, is very easy to open with wet hands. The product dispenses incredibly easily. The unscented version is a pearly white color, and also very similar to shampoo or body wash.

I like the fact that it doesn't lather a whole lot, but still enough to give you that clean feeling. It's well known that products that have super lather can often dry out the skin. This wasn't like that at all!

Taste / Aroma

I chose the unscented version because I sometimes have sensitivities to certain products with other fragrances. When products say "unscented", they usually don't smell like nothing. Most of the time they're just lacking a particular added fragrance. The scent of the unscented was a little strange to me. It didn't smell soapy like I was expecting. It reminded me a lot of acrylic paint. (My roommate said it smelled a bit like epoxy.) Personally, I like the smell of acrylic paint, but it's not one I was expecting out of a vaginal wash. It's not a strong scent, not particularly bad, and doesn't last after rinsing. Even though it smells weird out of the bottle, I didn't think it was enough of a problem to make me enjoy this product any less.

As for the taste, I can't really comment on that. I mean, it's soap, and it's not something I really enjoy the taste of for any reason.

Performance

Grab this little bottle, head into your shower or bath, and you're good to go! This stuff works well with just your fingertips or with a washcloth. All you need is about a half of a dime-sized amount to get things squeaky clean. If you're doing your entire body, you might need between a dime and Ia nickle. The 8.5 oz bottle should last you for quite a while.

Washing with this stuff was great. I normally get irritation from other types of soap, and I'm even cautious about using Dove soap. I've stuck to being just a plain water sort of girl because any alteration of my natural chemistry has caused me problems and I've found that I have sensitivities to quite a number of products. I was actually having a bout of irritation from a pantyliner the first time I tried this product. After washing really well with this, I felt refreshed and soothed. It has quickly become part of my shower ritual. I even love it as a body wash for dry, sensitive skin. It doesn't leave behind any residue. All you feel is fresh.

Packaging

This 8.5oz click-top bottle is really great. The label doesn't make it look too suspicious. It does say "gentle feminine wash" on the front, so if you want to be really discreet, you may want to peel off the label. It doesn't contain super informative instructions, but it doesn't really need to. I really love that I can easily pour this from the original container into smaller travel-sized bottles with ease. If you decide to take the whole bottle with you, you're still in good shape. It doesn't leak.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense

Special Features

This feminine wash is pH balanced to keep your lady bits in good shape. It also has anti-bacterial properties to kill off any odor-causing bacteria.
Follow-up commentary
I really, really like this stuff. I use it any time I want to feel "extra clean" and it does a fantastic job. I haven't had any irritation with it at all. Because I only use a small amount at a time, I've barely made a dent in the bottle and plan on replacing this one or trying one of the fragrances ones I run out. It's also great for bubble baths that won't irritate your lady parts! It's worth having for anyone with a vagina!
