Simply sensual shave trio - aftershave discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by Badass

This kit is composed of three parts, all of which are striving to help to create and maintain a close, smooth shave of your downstairs hair. Which the discreet design and labeling, you could give it as a gift to your Mum or friends. These producst could even be used my men since the smell of them is not very strong and not utterly feminine.
The first product, in order you would use them, is your shave creme. This simply buffers your skin while shaving to prevent cuts and nicks. It also creates a slicker over that region that helps your razor slide over your skin without catching and cutting or tearing your important nether bits.
The second is an after shave/wax protection mist, to make your nether region smooth and is supposed to help prevent chafing. The third is an after shave/wax powder, which technically helps to accomplish the same thing as the protection mist. The powder is more for the prevention of chafing, since it absorbs moisture.
While these were designed with genitalia in mind, the trio can also being used on legs, armpits, or anywhere else you grow hair and want to rid yourself of it.

The shave creme itself looks and feels like a conditioner. As a matter of fact, the back of the save creme's label has instructions for use as a conditioner. I had heard on the forum, prior to purchasing this, that hair conditioner was a good substitute for shave gel/cream. I was a skeptic, until I started comparing the ingredients in this to the ingredients inside Simply Sensual's mane attraction hair conditioner. I noticed many similarities as well as a few differences before I saw "For use as ...

The After Shave and Wax Protection mist is a simple mist when sprayed. It appears to be the same mist you've seen a hundred or more times coming out of perfume and body spray bottles. But once on skin, you can touch it, and when you do you will notice it is quite oily. Not nearly as thick or as oily feeling as a lubricant, but definitely an oily texture.

The After Shave and Wax Powder is fluffy and thin in texture. When putting on wet skin, it does clump, therefore I do not recommend using on wet skin. After applying to dry skin and rubbing in, it is virtually invisible and leaves behind only an extra smooth feeling to your skin.

The smell of all of these products are labeled as pomegranate ginger and smells similar to all the other Simply Sensual products in pomegranate ginger. Their version of pomegranate ginger is like citrus and spice, with an underlying floral smell. These products however, have a much more light smell to them than the others and after use leave little to no smell on your skin. This lack of after smell is why I would recommend this to fellows and why I have welcomed my fellow to use my set.

These products, thankfully, do not leave behind a taste after being rubbed into skin. The only product in this kit that does even remotely is the powder. If you are shaving to have your lover go down on you, you may want to avoid using the powder on that day. The powder tastes very similar to chalk and could ruin the mood for you.

The shave creme as a shave creme is wonderful. I get a close smooth shave without nicking or cutting my vaginal lips. I also noticed through using this, that thinner consistency shave creams and gels work best for me. In comparison to the "Coochy shave cream", Simply Sensual's shave creme is slightly thinner, and was easier to apply for me as well as easier to rinse off after I finished shaving. While you do not need to use soap and water to rinse the shave creme off, it is ideal to shave, then wash your body in the shower. As a conditioner, it wasn't nearly as awesome as the Simply Sensual Mane Attraction Conditioner.

The after shave and wax protection mist and me didn't get along nearly as well. After the first use, I noticed I was growing a few pimples down there. I generally do get a bit of irritation, or did before finding Edenfantasys and all the shave creams they carry, but seldom got pimples. After the 2nd and 3rd use, I noticed I had even more little bitty pimples down there. After talking it over with my fellow, we thought maybe it was the oily components of the protection mist. I shaved the 4th and 5th times with the kit minus the protection mist and lo and behold, those little zits didn't come back. I am not, not have I ever been, prone to acne or pimples, I would suggest against using this portion of the kit if you do have naturally oily skin for this reason. Also, keep in mind everyone's skin is different and handles things differently, you may try this protection mist out and never have a problem, while the next girl may try it and have nothing but problems.

The last component, the powder, significantly decreases chafing and the odds of chafing happening. It keeps you dry down there and lets your legs and lips graze smoothly over each other. When applying, be sure the area you are applying to is completely dry. Applying to a wet or damp area will cause this product to cake and become messy. Also make sure to rub it in all the way. Not doing so could lead to awkward white marks and spots on dark clothing and underwear.

All of these products are for external use, they contain sugar and wheat which can lead to a yeast infection or worse if applied inside the vagina.

Simply Sensual keeps the packaging simple with this kit. It comes in a clear plastic pouch with a white drawstring that holds all three of the items it comes with. This plastic pouch is one in the same with the plastic pouch that comes with the hair care trio from Simply Sensual. This bag comes in handy when traveling to sleepover and on trips. When the drawstrings are pulled tightly closed and tied, the pouch should not leak should any of the components inside leak.
You can store them in the bag or not, the option is yours, but I do recommend keeping it around in case you decide to travel.

All of the products themselves are labeled as Paraben free, Made in U.S.A., and Not tested on animals. Each of these items have the recycling triangle on the bottom and can be rinsed out and put out with your recycling.

I have been a major fan of Simply Sensual since I discovered this site. I have tried nearly all of the products from them, and when I saw they were putting out a shave trio, I just had to try it. I plan on continuing to use it, without the protection mist. Even though that mist does put a damper on my opinion of this kit, it does not in anyway affect my feelings toward Simply Sensual and their other products, including the others in this kit. Next time when purchasing, I will only buy the shave creme and powder, since they are now sold separately.
