Suntouched candle review

All in all, this is a wonderful massage product. I've tried a great many massage oils and creams but this candle beats them all. I love the way a little goes a long way and the lasting time is superb. Plus, the velvety softness of this oil makes it hands down the very best you can buy.

Pros
Very thick soft oil which feels wonderful to the touch.
Cons
The only con I can think of is the heat. It can be a little too hot if you're in a cool room.

extremely useful review
When I first bought this product I had no idea how it would end up feeling. After all, a candle that turns into massage oil|Massage Oils & Lotions? The first thing I did when I got it home was jump into the tub, light the candle and let the wax begin to melt. About ten minutes later, a good amount of massage oil had become liquefied at the top and the entire bathroom was filled with a soothing aroma which got me into the mood right away.

Now came the moment of truth. I got out of the tub, blew out the candle and poured the hot oil on my skin (be sure to always blow out the candle first!). Because I had already been in a hot tub, the heat of the oil felt just right. (I would recommend using this at bathtime since the oil is hot!) The massage oil|Suntouched candle was rich and creamy on my skin. It was so rich in fact, that I decided to just give myself a self massage. What a moment of bliss! The oil felt like liquid velvet under my fingertips and soothed every inch of my upper torso. The best part was, it lasted and lasted. I was able to massage myself for at least 30 minutes! Most oils will rub into the skin by that time. After that, I was so aroused I washed the oil off and payed some attention to my sweet spot(with the proper lube of course).

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this candle. My skin felt baby soft after my massage and stayed that way for about 24 hours! The usage amount was also impressive. The oil itself spreads easily and so I was able to get a lot of use out of a small amount, adding to the value of the candle. I can't wait to try it on my partner. I'm sure we're both going to love the mutual experience!
Follow-up commentary
This candle is one of my favorites; cleanup is a little difficult though. Tonight, I used quite a bit for a sensual massage|Sensual Massage - Book. I wanted to share my experiences (with everyone at Eden) with getting it off the skin.

The massage oil is extremely thick (which makes it feel oh-so-good) and almost clings to the skin. In order to remove it, I suggest washing the massaged areas with a strong soap (twice), otherwise, irritation could result. Irritation is very minor and (for me, who missed a spot during cleansing) consisted of light itching for a few hours. Also, when bathing right after use, please use some sort of mat or other nonslip device! All in all, this is one of the best massage oils I've found; just make sure to always wash it off right after use.

I love these candles, too!  They're not only great for massage, but also for newcomers to melted wax play, since the wax melts at a fairly low temperature and can be scooped out in small amounts and cooled a bit with the spoon.

You've got something there.  I too feel that wax from normal candles is a bit too hot, but these are just right.  Although I must admit, at first, I was a little afraid about the heat, but now I just love it.  I would also like to add that it's extremely soothing for sore muscles.  It has so many uses!

Is it ok to use on genital areas, should we just steer clear?
  • Contributor: Heartthrob
Its not recommended for such use although I'm going to admit I have tried it on the outside of me.  It feels wonderful, but it takes a lot of cleanup.  Never ever put this where it could have any chance of going inside of you because it is wax and it does harden!

Could this ever get so hot as to burn someone?
  • Contributor: Heartthrob
I tried to see just how hot it could get. No matter how long I burned the candle, the wax was always mildly hot, but not hot enough to cause discomfort or any damage to the skin.
