Suntouched edible candles - oil discontinued by Earthly Body - review by Superbals

Suntouched candle smells wonderful and is a great way to set a nice romantic mood for you and your significant other. The smell of the wax is VERY strong so if you're very sensitive to smells this may not be ideal choice. The wax burns until it reaches a summery temperature but the wax is not broiling which to me is a very good thing. The wax itself was nice but there was no massaging it all in. The wax left behind a residue that made me feel I needed a shower to get the rest of it off. Showering with my partner isn’t a bad thing but in the midst of the moment this agitated me. This is best used for a romantic massage during foreplay before you get down to business.

The oil feels wonderful but it's very thick and does not massage fully into the skin. The oil lasted for quite awhile but did not fully massage into my skin. My wife massaged me by pouring the oil on my skin just once after the oil burned for about 15 to 20 minutes and the massage lasted a good 30 mins or so. The oil/wax does indeed feel very sticky and greasy and I felt like I was coated in gunk.

The aroma from my Suntouched edible candle was excellent. True to its label, the candle smells just like a ripe watermelon but the smell was overwhelming. I did not taste the oil personally but my wife did and she was not impressed by the taste.

What we used of the candle melted quickly and was ready to be used as massage oil. A thick oily residue was left behind and I did shower it off after use. The aroma was very strong and lingered leaving the whole room smelling excellent even after it had been put out for a while. This candles aroma can easily be smelled even while not lit.

The candle came in a very nice heart shaped tin. There's a picture of a person licking a watermelon on the front and some general info about the candle on the bottom. From what I've seen it's SUPPOSED to come with a spoon but mine did not :(
