Simply sensual hair care trio - shampoo discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by Badass

This fun little bundle comes with shampoo, conditioner, as well as a shine serum. The bottles are marked as "color care formula" so its okay for dyed hair, as well as nappy hair like mine. I noticed much less frizz when using the shine serum. These products all boast on their labels that they have pheromones in them.
The conditioner hydrates after the shampoo cleans and the serum makes your hair look nice and shiny. If you have curly or nappy hair, this serum will help with frizz.

Shampoo:
The shampoo is mostly normal shampoo consistency and texture, though maybe slightly thinner. One thing that stands out about it to me, is that when it is in your hand, you can see it is not clear like it appears through the bottle. It is actually a pearl like color. When on your hair it lathers well, thought since I have a long mane, I had to reapply twice. Reapply meaning using the squirt pump to put more on my hair. It rinsed out very easy and my scalp felt quite clean.

Conditioner:
This conditioner is thick and feels like butter that has been left out over night. Since this condition is quite thick, these squirt pumps do make application a bit more difficult. My long hair required 10 more squirts into my hand after the first handful I smoothed through my hair.

Serum:
This shine serum reminds me of the texture of Beyond the Zone's Noodle head. It is a bit like baby oil but thicker. With this stuff a little does a long way. After application to your hair, you will have a hard time getting it off of your hands. The method that works best for me is, taking the towel I dried my hair with,(since it is still slightly damp) and after application rubbing and wiping my hands on that to get off the excess. Though this does not remove all of it, it does make washing with soap and warm water much easier.

The smell of these products is called "Pomegranate Ginger", but I don't really associate the smells I'm smelling to those. I do smell the ginger in it, and the products do smell fruity, but more like an orange or tangerine. It is more a citric ginger in my opinion.
When in the shower, these smells are quite strong, I would even say they might be overbearing for some. But after rinsing out and drying your hair, the smell does die down. The smell is still there when you put your hair to your nose, but much more subtle.

As for taste? Even I am nut dumb enough to put shampoo in my mouth, even if it does smell good enough to eat.

Shampoo(Pump Top):
Serves it purpose well. Easy to get a lather, and is also easy to rinse out. Left my hair feeling slightly dehydrated, but it got my hair nice and squeaky clean.
Conditioner(Pump Top):
Put hydration right back into my hair! Simply cover your hair with this magical substance, and let it sit on your hair for a few minutes. Generally I will wash my hair first thing in the shower, then apply conditioner and wash my body while it sets. When applying pay most attention to the ends of your hair, not the root, and it will help split ends and breaking.
Shine Serum:
Worked excellently for me, but I am used to adding some kind of serum to my hair after washing. This serum helps relieve frizz as well as making your hair look shiny. Be careful when applying not to put too much on, and make sure to dispense evenly through your hair.



These products claim to have pheromones in each. I personally don't think they work if there is. My boyfriend didn't seem any more attracted to me than usual. They sure do smell good though, and will make you smell good too!

These three items come together in the clear plastic bag pictured in USE. Each one is clearly labeled what it is, who is is by(Simply Sensual-Mane Attraction), that they are paraben free, and how much is inside. The shampoo and conditioner lids are pump dispensers, similar to most bathroom hand soap bottles. The serums lid is different, but is also a pump lid.
