Infrared rechargeable massager by Cal Exotics - review by LostinLife

The Infrared rechargeable massager from Cal Exotics was a big let down for me. I bought this for the purpose of being able to give myself a nice little treat of a back and body massage. The vibration is there, but the infrared part never really does warm up. That was the part I was so looking forward to. Also it is kinda noisy.

You can use this for an all over body massage or pinpoint muscle work. I guess if you really wanted to you could use this with its attachments for clitoral stimulation. You can use it on or with your partner or for solo use. It maybe hard to reach some parts of your back but the swivel handle helps reach some of those places.

The massager itself is made out of a hard plastic, which is a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. The plastic is a synthetic or semi synthetic polymerization product. It is a non-porous material with a firm and smooth texture. I did not notice a smell when I opened the container.

The attachments are made out of SoftTouch. SoftTouch is thermal plastic elastomer which is a mixture of PVC and silicone. SoftTouch is suppose to mimic real skin. It is a flexible and resilient material. Softtouch is extremely porous.





The attachment spot has a roller with lifted bumps on it. This kinda hurts when in use. You slip the attachments right over this spot. On the opposite side to this is the smooth infrared side. Even though I can not feel the heat that is suppose to be there, I use this still for back and neck work. You can feel the vibration through it so it is still good for something.

The Infrared massager is a rechargeable massager. You have to charge it for 12 hours to be fully charged to use for an hour. It is 11 1/2 inches long, with a width of 3 inches and weighs 1.5 pounds. You can turn the top of the handle and the massager goes into almost a 90 degree angle so it is easier to work on certain spots. It also has a flexo-joint under the head of the massager. Under the flexo-joint is a recharge and power indicator light.






There is a smooth attachment that is soft to the touch and is very flexible. This is great to use on your neck and back area. Then there is a bristle attachment, the finger like structures are semi hard but yet flexible. This is great if you use on your head on low speed. The last attachment is a dual attachment, it is like two knuckles that are sticking out to work on you. The knuckle like structures are hard and have very little give. This would be great for working on your partners back area.

This massager is bulky and would take up a lot of room if taken traveling. But if you have the extra room I would not see the problem, just remember the charger. You can store it in the plastic container it came in or with your other toys. Just keep in mind that it takes up more space than a traditional vibrator would.

There are two settings on the Infrared rechargeable massager low with infrared heat and high without infrared heat. There is a power switch that controls this.




The infrared heat part never really heats up. It turns on you can see the pretty red lights but never does anything. I wish there were more settings and the vibration was a little stronger. But I guess it is one of those things my husband always says "you get what you pay for."

You can feel the vibration all the way throughout the toy. My hand was numb by the time I was done using it. The toy is noisy but if you are using the massager just for back massage I don't think it will make too much of a difference.

The care for this is really easy, you can wipe the handle down with cloth sprayed with toy cleaner or a wipe. If you do decide to use your massager for clitoral stimulation with a water base lube, you can easily clean the attachments with soap and water.

I store the attachment pieces in my toy box and set the massager on top. There is no need for me to hide it I am not using it in a sexual matter just as a back and muscle massager.

The packaging is plastic with two snaps at the top. You could use this for storage but it does take up a lot of room. Also I have a hard time keeping mine shut, that is why I do not use it for storage.

I really wished the infrared heat would have heated up. That is one of the main reasons I bought this massager.
