Are you looking for a lip gloss that actually moisturizes your lips, without drying the hell out of them?! Well, Winter Wonderlips by Cake Beauty, does just that. This is a gorgeous gift set of three different shades of gloss, which leave your lips with a pretty glossy shimmer, no matter what skin tone you have. These are suitable for light or dark skin, as they offer a kiss of sparkle to your lips. All three colors are meant to be a nude frost, one with brown tones, one with pink tones, and the last with a pearl sheen. Add these on top of your favorite shade of lipstick, or wear them directly on your lips for some sparkly shine. With it being a trio gift package, it makes for an excellent gift, for a woman of any age.

All three lip glosses have the same texture: thick, creamy, smooth, a little sticky, non greasy, and leave your lips velvety soft. Even though they are a little sticky in nature, they are thick enough that you don't have to reapply it every few minutes. Drinking, eating, kissing, these lip glosses actually stay put, and leave your lips moisturized for hours.

The consistency of the glosses are thick, but not overly thick that they leave a gunky residue behind. Removing the wand from the lip gloss tube, the gloss itself actually has an elastic effect, as it won't drip off the wand. The lip brush is a soft texture, perfectly shaped for the best application.



The first lip gloss color is vanilla frost. It's a creamy pearl with an opalescent shine. The color kind of reminds me of wearing a mother of pearl shade on the lips.

The second lip gloss color is pink icicle. It's a sheer light pink color, with a diamond sparkle effect. This is similar to the first color, but with a pink hue to it. This is super feminine, and adds just a little extra color to the lips.

The third lip gloss color is gold glimmer. It's a glistening nude color, with golden sheen. I like to wear this color when I'm in the mood for some gold shimmer.

All three colors add a wonderful winter kiss to your lips, and will make them irresistibly kissable.

The taste of all three lip glosses are basically the same. They smell like vanilla flavored cake batter, and remind me of my mom baking during the holidays. The smell is quite strong from the moment you glide it on your lips, but weakens within minutes of application. Once it soaks in a bit, I found it to be more pleasant, and less overpowering.

There isn't much when it comes to taste of this product. Originally when I smelled the glosses, I expected them to taste as good as they smell. There is a slight sweetness to the product, but really is unflavored when it comes to taste buds. Kissing someone wearing this, awakens your senses, and truly is a dessert of it's own!

I love that this lip gloss actually lasts longer then five minutes. Usually I hate wearing lip gloss, as it gets eaten off, within five minutes. This is by far one of the best quality glosses that I've tried to date. It actually moisturizes the lips, and doesn't leave them chapped. I'm tired of lipstick and gloss that looks nice, but leaves your lips chapped, and/or dry.

I only wish that this product wasn't a limited edition kind of set, and that they offered more colors.

The packaging of this gift set is super cute, and make it a great gift for any woman. The packaging is fully recyclable, both the lip gloss bottles, as well as the cardboard box. Starting from the box measuring 5.5" high, by 4" wide, and 1" thick. It's a light pink color, and has white little snowflakes on it. At the top is the "Cake" logo that is centered, and just below it says "FLAVOURED LIP GLOSS TRIO". Below that is a little window cut out, which shows the three lip gloss colors that come inside the package. At the bottom of the package it says "Winter Wonderlips", which is in dark pink writing.

Each lip gloss tube just a little over 4" in length, and are 11ml, 0.4 fl. oz. The lip gloss tubes are clear plastic, so you're able to see the hue of each gloss through the bottle. Each gloss has a pretty silver shiny lid, which adds some sheen to the decor.

The back of the box is the same background as the front. It basically has a description of the gift set, with details on each lip gloss hue. It states that this is a limited edition gift set, and contains full ingredients listed.

The box is so well made, that you can easily open and close it, which makes it easy for storage. Each lip gloss is held in place, so that they don't wiggle around in the box.
