Hump bump & vibe - position pillow by Sportsheets - review by ~LaUr3n~

The Hump, Bump, & Vibe sex accessory by Sportsheets is designed to work best as an upgrade to their other product, The I Like It Doggie Style Strap. When velcroed to the inside of the inside of the support band on the strap, it clitoral stimulation for the wearer. A second use for the Hump, Bump, & Vibe is with another Sportsheets product not currently offered on edenfantasys, the Pleasure Pillow Case. By using the Pleasure Pillow Case, you can turn your own pillow into a position pillow. The Hump, Bump, & Vibe can be velcroed to the material and add stimulation for the woman as her partner enters her from behind as her hips are slightly elevated. If you don't have either of these other products, you may find that this product by itself doesn't work as well you might hope. It wasn't designed to be used alone, although it can be. This is best for couples, but can also be used alone.

The basic design of the Hump, Bump, & Grind is a mini pillow that fits in the palm of your hand. One side is flat and has a Velcro bottom, while the other side and rest is curved and has a soft felt cover. The felt and Velcro cover is not removable. The shape is roughly 4 1/2" long, 3" wide, and 2" tall. This isn't all that important because the inside is filled with foam. This foam is soft and squishy. The shape is not retained when body pressure is applied.

The felt has a slit at both ends of the hump. This is where the bullet is inserted. The bullet is traditional, about 2 1/2" long and 2 1/4" in circumference. Most toys that include removable bullets have the same size ones, so they could be interchangeable if you have a favorite. The bullet is plastic with a painted metallic finish on it. The majority of the bullet slides between the felt material and the foam insert, only the top sticks out so that you can turn it on and off.

The entire thing feels very home made and you probably could make one of these easily. It is a great idea and awesome accessory, but it could benefit from an upgrade in construction quality. The felt material stretches from adjusting the bullet over time and doesn't retain shape. The bullet slides easily and I wish there was some sort of extra strap to go over it to keep it in place so that the material didn't have to be compromised.

When used with the I Like It Doggie Style Strap, it velcroed to the inside of the support band and stayed put. The bullet sometimes slipped up with the thrusting motions, but that was the only problem. It applied clitoral stimulation and was fairly comfortable. Sometimes, since it would slip it would be hard to adjust mid action because it is on the inside of the strap. This made me look like I had ants in my pants while I dug for gold or something. When it did stay in place, it did help with stimulation wonderfully. The bullet is great. It is strong and not that loud when it is laid on or in the strap.

When used with a position pillow, I found that it didn't provide much. Because the shape pretty much flattens under any weight, the bullet would get kind of lost during sex. Because of my body weight and then my partners on top of me, it was not comfortable to lay on the bullet at times. If the shape insert were firmer this would be awesome for my purposes. I can finish from pressure alone and not penetration or actual direct stimulation and sometimes have a hard time finishing from sex while on my stomach. If this were firmer it would apply the pressure needed, however it is not.

But like I mentioned in the very beginning of this review, the design of this is so that it is used to enhance the Doggie strap and it does. My rating is based on this. As a solo piece, it doesn't work as well...but that isn't what it was supposed to be for. I did find that it can be slid inside a harness if lose enough. You may be able to experiment even further with this or other ideas.

This accessory comes in a very long plastic snap case. I think the company just decided to use this same case as other products in their line even though it is way too big for this product. The front and back have pictures of a half naked couple looking like they are having a lot of fun while using the Hump, Bump, & Vibe. There are instructions and ideas for use on the packaging. The inserts with the pictures can be removed and tossed.

You can spot clean this or throw this is the washer and dry on low heat tumble. No packaging is needed to store this. Just remove the watch batteries from the bullet beforehand.

I would rate this 4 stars, but because of the craftsmanship and slipping bullet, I give it 3. Not a bad product, just needs some improvement to make it even better. I look forward to an upgrade.
