Condom cube - storage container discontinued by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by Kayla

The Condom Cube is an adorable little cube that can store all sorts of bedside accessories. When I received mine in the mail, I was actually pretty surprised - it was larger than I thought it was. It fits a soda can inside of it size-wise, but obviously, the top won't close with a soda can in it. It's almost three inches long and tall and has a width of two and a half inches. The outside and inside of the box (as well as the inside cover of the lid) are covered in some fake leather that's actually very nice and smooth. The logo "DevineToys" is engraved on one of the sides in a small corner. The top is made of purple satin that is covered with a black lace overlay. Overall, the material choice was nice, and I feel like it adds to the overall "sexy" feel of a condom case.

The packaging was very basic. It just came in a little plastic baggie. DevineToys included their little "somewhat see-through" paper at the bottom of the box that says "Devine Toys".

This box is actually pretty discreet. Sitting by a bedside, you wouldn't automatically assume it stored sex accessories. Nothing about the box screams "sex", but if you know what function it serves, the box looks sexy enough to keep out in plain sight and not mind reaching for it in the middle of fun times. Plus, this box can easily organized and store some of your sexual accessories that were being hidden away in drawers (and a pain to get out). This will be replacing our current use which was just keeping the condoms in the original box buried in a drawer. This new DevineToys condom cube will keep the condoms near us in bed while still being discreetly hidden and easier to access. (Plus, it matches our other DevineToys box.)

The lid shuts by a magnetic closure in the front. When the description says "strong magnet", it means it. If you let the lid go while it's still half-way open, the lid will close on its own and snap shut. Opening the lid is really easy as well - even if you have lubricated hands. The magnet releases really easily by human force but will shut when you're done in case you forgot.

In my video review, I shoved random things in the condom cube to show you what would fit, but I'll reiterate on that now.

When it comes to condoms, the description suggest it will fit six. When I told the boyfriend that, he said it wasn't even worth purchasing for that. However, when we received it, we could easily fit ten to twelve condoms in the cube at one time without really squishing them. This is if the condoms were laying down or even if they were standing up. (Think card catalog) While we only had about seven to try in it (I know, we're running low), we both estimated it would easily fit more than six. If are worried about others seeing such a large stash, you could easily fit six or less.

As another reviewer of this toy mentioned, it doesn't fit large/x-large condoms very well. This was designed to hold regular sized condoms. However, only six percent of men actually use large/x-large condoms, so this condom cube would work for you unless you (or are with someone who) use large condoms.

Smaller toys would fit as well. A couple cock rings or bullets would easily fit into this little condom cube as well. We had a Boss Cock's Ring and an Ophoria Finger Vibe in there without any problem.

If you have lots of trial-size packets of lubricant, those should fit in here too. I had six different packets of the trial size of lube, and all of them fit in the cube without much squishing. Only seven or eight packets of lube would fit comfortably in the cube. Bottle lubricants doesn't look like they will fit.

Cleaning shouldn't be too difficult. Warm water on a washcloth with some antibacterial soap should clean up any ickies that happen to get on the inside of your box or on the faux leather. The lace/satin would take more care and probably should only receive just warm water.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the condom cube. I feel like it's a little expensive for what it provides, but I didn't imagine it would be as well made as it was. It's honestly a great bedside accessory, and I'm glad we own it now. I didn't think it would be too useful when I requested it but having it around has really changed my mind. If you'd like great storage for your sex accessories, I 100% recommend this.

We still love the Condom Cube. It fits as many condoms as we really need to use at once. It keeps our condoms in a cute little manner that allows us to have tons of condoms sitting out for use without making it obvious. The box has been cleaned out a couple times because some of the condoms leaked lubricant, but the box still looks exactly like when we first bought it. As long as you are careful with cleaning, it doesn't harm the cube at all.
