Divine carry on - storage container discontinued by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by Newlyinclined

When my Devine Carry-on arrived in the mail, she came folded neatly inside of a plastic bag. Opening the plastic bag posed no problem but unfolding her and getting her not to fold back took a bit of patience. I also noticed that upon removing her from the plastic, she smelled distinctly of 'new plastic/pvc bag' that I my memory associates with new pvc/plastic products made in China (and she is "Made in China" as her interior tag points out). But after a day or so, the strong scent dissipates, though I can still smell it if I stick the bag right against my nose or about an inch away from it. But I'm not totally adverse to that smell and I'm not going to be sticking my nose next to this too often. But if you're sensitive to smells, this is a slight warning for the product.

I tend to overestimate the size of things, so the Devine Carry-on was a bit smaller than I thought. She's 10 inches long, 3.5 inches wide at her widest point, and 4.5 inches tall. I say widest point because as seen in the product picture, she tapers to a bit of a point towards the top. But because she isn't a solid/hard case, there's a bit of maneuvering room available to squeeze extra items in (she's also pretty sturdy so stuff away!).

Holding her in my hand, she has a very hefty and solid feel. Definitely not very flimsy or thin feeling. How she looks though. Wow. I was expecting a glossy and maybe slightly tacky zip-up bag, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's hard to see in the picture, but the Devine Carry-on is more matte and shimmery than shiny and plastic-y/glossy. She has some silver highlighting with any light that hits her and also almost glows a deep red color. So pretty. Her zipper is also very sturdy, so I have no fears of that breaking any time soon.

If there's one great thing about the Devine Carry-on it's that she doesn't scream 'Sex toys in here!'--she more reminds me of a makeup bag or toiletry bag.

Inside, the Devine Carry-on is lined with a red cloth. I don't think it's plant fiber--it looks more like a polymer of sorts. Polyester? I'm not sure. But there's no chance of gathering lint from this lining, which is very nice for my silicone toys.

There was a point where I got a spot of dirt/dust on her outside. To clean that I just wet a towel and wiped at the area. Spot cleaning and very easy. Don't immerse her though with anything inside, water can easily seep through the zipper and the cloth around the zipper.

I fit the following things in the Carry-on:
Stuffing 1: G-Ki, Smart Balls, Pink Water (3.5 oz), Beaded Nipple Clamps, Before & After Toy cleaner (8 oz), and a .5 oz of perfume. There was still a little bit of room to spare if I had something slim and tiny.
Stuffing 2: 24 Toy wipes, 2 Pink Waters (3.5 oz), .5 oz of perfume, Beaded Nipple Clamps

I'm trying to find a configuration so I can fit my new Bcurious in too.

She also fits very snugly in my luggage without taking up too much space.
