Liberator Whirl XT - position pillow by Liberator - review by AngelvMaynard

First off, let me say there is absolutely nothing compared to having sex on a piece of Liberator Sex Furniture! Whether you are young, old, meek or bold, Liberator makes sex fun, fun, fun! I was so excited when I saw the box for the Liberator Whirl XT on my front porch that I squealed! It was a lot bigger when I pulled it out of the box than I thought it would be. It is not an easy piece to hide. Luckily, it looks like a regular bolster pillow when you aren't using it to get your groove on.

If you are looking to enhance almost any position, the Whirl XT can help you. Want to go doggy style? Turn it long ways, and it gives you some height and something to hold on to. Turn it horizontally and you are rocking back and forth with every thrust. For oral on him or her, put it under your hips while lying on your back and you have given them just enough angle that reaching your naughty spots is not a problem. Go missionary style and give your hips a boost. If you like to give your man a blow job from your hands and knees, the Whirl will give your ankles and legs the support they need to make it last! These are just a few of the ways it can be used. I'm sure you can get creative and come up with other positions I haven't thought of...yet.

The Whirl XT is a 24 inch long, 9 inch round cylinder bolster cushion. The outer cover is microsuede so that it stays put where ever you place it - whether that be the bed, the floor, the kitchen counter, or your lounge chair by the pool. The inner layer foam is covered by a waterproof polyester cover so that if you make a little mess on the outer cover, the foam stays nice and dry. The microsuede fiber also acts as a liquid barrier in that it takes more than a small amount of fluid to penetrate the outer layer. Both the outer microsuede cover and the inner polyester waterproof cover unzip and can be easily removed for cleaning. The foam material is very firm. For me, because of the height, it is almost a little too firm. I think the only real flaw of this Liberator product is that the foam doesn't have enough give. I'm small, and the pillow was a bit high. Had the foam given just a little more, I would have found it more comfortable.

The Whirl XT has seen its way around my bedroom a few times now and in a few different positions! We started with doggie style because, well, that's what the girl was doing in the advertisement. It looked as good as any position to start with. We started with the Whirl underneath me longways, running the length of my torso, which gave me something to balance on and allowed me to rest my arms when things got heated and going fast. It was a nice place to lay across, and having the cushion between my legs, I was able to squeeze the pillow with my knees for added tension. Next, we tried the cushion horizontally. The cushion has enough height that I was able to lay over it, and it rolled back and forth in time with his thrusts. Done slow and rhythmically, it was actually a very soothing motion.

From there, I flipped over on my back and put the cushion under my hips which raised my angle and allowed him to come in higher. I am not a tall woman, and I did find that in this position, it didn't feel completely comfortable on my back. The cushion was just a tad too high on my lower back. However, if you are an average height or tall woman, I don't think you would have a problem in this position.

The foam is also very sturdy. As I said above it is almost too sturdy in that it doesn't have a lot of give. I found the pillow most comfortable when I was lying over it on my stomach rather than it under my back. Again, if you are a taller woman, you may not have this same issue.

My Whirl XT came packaged in a big box with the cushion inside. The dimensions of the box were 26 1/2 x 14 x 9. It was a rather large box but completely nondescript. It was wrapped in plastic, but I did notice there was no instructional material. Usually Liberator comes with a nice little book of suggested positions. However, if you were to pull this straight out of the box and you had a room full of people, no one would suspect what it is. It looks like any other bolster pillow that might be found on a couch or a bed. Like with any of the Liberator products, you can use the Whirl XT as far as your imagination can take you!

The outer microsuede material is removable by a zipper on the cushion. If the outer layer gets wet or needs to be washed, just unzip it and throw it in the washing machine. I suggest to dry it on low, so it will hold its shape. The microsuede will get a little softer with each wash. The inner waterproof layer can also be removed from the foam core to be washed down with a cloth. Once everything is clean, put the two layers back on and you are ready to "roll" again! The pillow is rather large. If you want to hide it, you will need to find a big corner in your closet or a high enough bed to tuck it under. Beware though, the microsuede does attract a little bit of pet hair, so have your lint roller ready if you hide it where the pets may roam.

I love the Whirl XT. I'm holding it between my legs right now and squeezing it as I write this review. You can have imaginative sex in several positions with this Liberator piece and never get tired of trying something new. I have tried 3 positions, and I'm thinking of three more right off the top of my head that I'll be trying later. There may be a follow up review after this one if you guys are interested in the new positions!

I think this might be one of my new favorite Liberator products. I loved having him from behind while I rolled back and forth with him. It made doggie style, shall we say, comfortable. I liked having the pillow there to squeeze and roll with during. When I pulled it vertically with my torso, it was an even better ride and balance, and he was able to enter from a higher level than normal. When you change angles in sex, even the slightest bit sometimes, it can make the experience different. Thats what the Whirl XT does. It changes what you would normally do and adjusts it slightly and that makes it a whole new experience. We both wanted it to last because we were enjoying the angle so much.
