Dr. Flynt's love slick - lubricant discontinued by Hustler Toys - review by Bears and Cats

This is a Silicone based lubricant containing the following ingredients in this order; Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Cyclohexasiloxane, and Dimethicone. No parabens or sugars of any kind and most definitely not silicone toy safe. May stain some fabrics. The bottle says for topical use only and that you should apply a small amount to moisten while applying more if needed. As it says for topical use only, you should only use it externally (No penetration). This lubricant does not say that it is condom safe, which isn’t surprising considering it doesn't say you should be sticking it inside of yourself or anyone else. The bottle also says that it's an adult novelty. It is supposed to wash away with mild soap and warm water. Made by Hustler Toys.

This lubricant has a tenancy to flood out when attempting to be poured. It runs a fair bit while trying to apply and feels more like a water-based lubricant in the sense that it runs like water. It feels incredibly oily which is really off-putting and dries up really fast leaving behind a nasty oily slick sticky feeling that doesn't wipe up.

There was no real noticeable aroma other than a very faint (only noticeable to one of us) cosmetic scent, but isn't bad. It's got that kind of comforting scent of an old relative, kind of like catching a whiff of an old woman's purse from across a room. We did not taste this as it doesn't say it has a flavor, and also since it’s not for internal use.

We enjoyed the idea of having a "Premium Silicone Based Lubricant" as the bottle describes, but we were rather disappointed. For starters the lube says external use only. We've never heard of lubes being external only. Secondly, it's labeling itself as an adult novelty. That's another thing we haven't come across before. It feels like the company is trying to cover itself by making all of these claims, which in turn makes us not trust it.

Other than the actual problems of using it, we also have the actual problems that come from using it. It dries up after about 10 to 15 minutes of use, which really kills the mood when giving any various forms of jobs, and even disappears during masturbation. Once you get past the issues of reapplying every couple of minutes you come across the next big issue, cleanup. Cleaning up after use is a nightmare. Unfortunately for us, we don't have any sinks that are conveniently at crotch-level. That means for us to get the lube off with warm water and a mild soap we have to take a partial or complete shower. They also fail to mention that you'll need to scrub to get it off, as attempting to wash it off like you would wash your hands isn't enough. Even after using soap and water the greasy film remains and doesn't dry up or absorb into your skin leaving you uncomfortable and unpleasant until your next bath.

The lube came packaged in a small plastic bag, with a small silver tamper-evident piece of tape covering the flip cap on the bottle. There were no instructions other than the instructions printed on the bottle. The packaging looks discreet, coming off as being a cosmetic tube at first glance. It even looks like the Olay brand of aging creams. The problem with that for us is that we don't use cosmetics or any form of make-up other than shampoo, antiperspirant/deodorant, and toothpaste. We also feel like we should mention that the bottle itself says that it can leak if not stored upright. We didn't have any issues with that, but we didn't leave it lying around all over the place.

We did not enjoy this lubricant. It was more hassle than it was worth, and didn't last long enough for either of us even with massive amounts of it applied. This has been our most unpleasant experience with any form of lubrication to this date. It actually got to the point of us loathing using it for the purpose of reviewing it.

Even though the bottle says for external use only, we did try it internally. Very hesitantly. We searched the Internet to find out if all of the ingredients were condom safe and decided to test it out in spite of the labeling. We didn't have any issues in regard to penetration, but we didn't try to use it much after that point. While being used internally the lubrication aspect of the lube didn't last. Using saliva would have been more effective and less messy.

After a week of testing and loathing and cleaning, we will not be recommending this to anyone we know.
