Sliquid organics warming - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by gipsydanger

In the interest of full disclosure, this was my first "real" lube that wasn't a $1 trial size at the checkout counter of an adult store. So I haven't gotten much to compare it to or a lot of experience with this!

I received a sample when I was visiting a boutique and it was the only "warming" lube they offered. I'm a fan of very intense heats that build through friction and this just wasn't strong enough. While it provides a good slick, the heat (which I did feel for some reason, unlike other reviewers) was very brief and almost immediately faded. I've only ever used it under the sheets and discreetly, so maybe air exposure compounds the cooling effect. On the nipples, it does provide the "cooling" sensation that I assume was what other reviewers felt.

I was very disappointed and it was hardly what I expected.

Now, the product is great because it's organic and I fully support organic things. It does have a few pros--like I said, it increases glide and is safe for toys. I've only ever used it vaginally and not with a partner, so I cannot comment on either of those things. I do know, however, that the taste is pleasant and not absolutely gross, which I assume would be a good thing if I did have a partner. Because I assume no one wants to taste gross lube.

It has decent re-wetting properties, but again I have nothing to compare it to.

In terms of the heat, to go back to that subject, the $1 sample I used previously was much, much more intense. If I was testing this blind, I would have never guessed it was marketed as a "warming" lube.

Cleanup is fairly easy and it thankfully is not sticky. It doesn't leave a lot of residue on toys and it tastes decent enough to lick off fingers (which makes cleaning even easier!). It makes vaginal penetration easier as well, but it really doesn't stimulate the clit much.

I'm honestly very glad I got the small sample for free, because I don't think I would ever buy it myself, especially at this price (even though it's quite a lot in that size). After the first couple times using it I got bored of it and stopped before I'd even used up all of the small sample. It just wasn't what I expected or hoped for.
