Sliquid sizzle - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by Triangles

The Sliquid sizzle lubricant is the next in my quest for lubes which hold up to the force. Sliquid is an unique company which specializes in organic and natural lubricants, free of nasty things such as parabens and glycerin, both can cause irritation and infections. The lubricant came in quite a long package for a small item. The box was stuffed with brown paper, and at the bottom lie the lubricant in its attractive bottle.

The lube itself comes in a press down bottle which is unlikely to leak. The four ounces of lube came to be a larger quantity than I expected. Its ingredients are mostly natural and vegan, which will not cause harm or cause infections. Yeast feeds on sugars and causes yeast infections, glycerin is a sugar in many lubes and can cause this. The thickening agent is sorbital, a familiar ingredient found in gum. It is a sugar alcohol and will not cause this problem, while still giving the lube a sweet taste. Plant cellulose, made from the hard outer parts of plant cells, is the second thickener, along with other chemicals I am not familiar with. However, without parabens and glycerin, this lube is pretty safe and awesome.

The consistency of the lube is slightly more than Astroglide, but lasts a relatively longer time. This lube may not be the best choice for anal, as the mental can be irritating and it isn't quite thick enough.

The magic ingredients that give the lube its unique "heat" is mental. I found that the lube didn't feel hot at all, it felt as if I put a piece of spearmint gum into my nether regions. Cold, chilling, and fresh as the arctic breeze. I actually found this annoying, and rather painful, so I couldn't bare to use too much of the lube. It worked quite well as a vaginal lube for those who want an extra sensation, but doesn't live up to its warm promise and is actually rather cold. I will stick to a Astroglide for now.

The tingling/burning/icy-hot sensation has become too much for me, and I will not buy this again. I would recommend a basic lube if you are unsure if you enjoy this kind of sensation.
