Hydra - lubricant discontinued by Intimate Organics - review by KiaMarie

This smooth textured lube is great for anal play, not so much for vaginal play. We attempted to use it one night during a little extreme play, and ended up taking a shower almost immediately after application. It was a little too much for my sensitive area. With it being organic, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use it for what we had intended to use it for.

When we used it for anal play, it made things so much easier. We've tried various lubes before, and none seem to make things glide as much as this. The smoothness just seems to make for a better anal experience than we've ever had with lubes before. The texture is one where a little bit goes a LONG way.

The smell to this is very natural. It reminds me of days spent in the gardens, which is not something I want to be thinking about during sex. Unless I'm thinking about the rose gardens on my family's property, and a certain gazebo we christened... *ahem* But that's for another time.

Cleanup is fairly simple one way, and not so much the other. Anally, a quick swipe with a wet towel and I was done. Vaginally, I ended up showering, as stated before, and actually had to douche before I felt clean again. Talk about an unpleasant cleanup.

All in all, it was very disappointing. We weren't able to use it for what we had originally bought it for, and must continue our search for the perfect lube for our more extreme play sessions. The smell brings back memories that have us giggling more than moaning. Anal cleanup was easy, but vaginal is a different story.

I think it'll be a long time before we buy more of this particular lube.
