K-Y jelly by K-Y Brand - review by ArcaneBlast

I use to think KY was top quality. It is the one everyone knows, but after using a lot of lubes, my opinion has severely changed.

Ingredients: Purified water, Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Gluconolactone, Methylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide

As you can see, they use parabens in it. They also use glycerin, but a lot of lubes do and I can't really rate them down for that since I do like a lot of my glycerin-y lubes. This is definitely not for sensitive people though, or those prone to yeast infections.

This also runs thicker than normal lubes which is a plus, but dries up fast into a mess. I usually never have to wash lube off, but in this case I do. This is great however if you don't have silicone lube and use it in the shower though and keep reapplying! I mean it's a waste, but not too much of one if you already have it. The one thing I do like about it is the fact that the glycerin usually makes lubricants taste too chemical sweet but in this case it is a bit like honey with a small kick to it.

During penetration, this often comes out to that weird stuff that you sometimes get on condoms after sex. The first time I saw that I was VERY afraid I somehow got gross chunks inside me and had a yeast infection. Luckily my partner saw this before and noted it was just lubricant. Still very gross though. Unfortunately with a partner who is not so experienced, it might turn him or her off so that's another minus for this lube.

I really don't like this at all, it's the epitome of bad lube and I'm very surprised because everyone uses KY! Its the one thing that is endorsed by everyone, so when I FINALLY got my hands on a bottle boy was I surprised. It does that disgusting chunky thing, dries up fast, and contains parabens!

If you know about this site, then you should definitely give this a pass and get some other one. If you don't well, you wouldn't be reading this, but I hope you don't get this anyway.
