KY Jelly is the old reliable lube that gets the job done. It's good for solo use with a toy or activities with your partner. It's effective when performing anal to keep things from getting painful. It has a Vaseline kind of smell to it. If you use too much, it makes a squishy noise which can kill the mood. I wouldn't recommend getting it in your mouth. It's unflavored, but it does smell like it wouldn't taste very good. I recommend a nice flavored one if you intend to put it places your mouth is going next.

Because it's water-based it's safe to use with toys, which is great. You don't have to worry when using it with a silicone toy. It will help things glide in without any pain. It's safe to be inside of you, and using it for those fun times with your partner. I've used it when having anal sex with my partner, and I felt it worked pretty well to make that beginner situation a little easier on me.

It can be a bit sticky though. It will leave you feeling it on your skin for hours without a thorough shower. I also feel that you have to use a lot more than you do with other lubes. It's a good reliable lube, but there are definitely better ones on the market. Price-wise though, it's great. It's not very expensive, and it definitely does work for the job. I personally have tried other lubes that I felt work better, and I didn't need as much. Plus there is part of me that always thinks of being at the Gyno office when I see a tube of KY. I find it's not the best thing to be thinking about when trying to be brought to pleasure during sex.
