O'my flavor - lubricant discontinued by O'My Products - review by Cinnamon Chambers

This was the most anticipated product from my most recent purchase. O'my has great reviews as a water based lubricant and what could ever taste better than blueberry cheesecake? After getting it and experimenting with it I am glad a made the decision to try the O'my line of lubricants.

When it arrived it was in a clear box, with a beautiful, cobalt blue see through bottle inside. I must say the packaging and the bottle design are very impressive and scream high end. I love the functionality of the pump dispenser. With just one tap on it you have the perfect amount of lubricant to get started with. This eliminates pouring out too much or having to close a flip top bottle and set it upright before you continue with getting down to business.

My first taste of O'my blueberry cheesecake from my finger tip was horrible. It was bitter, tasted very much like a chemical, and was flat out nasty. In seconds I was experiencing an aftertaste, but this time the aftertaste was outstanding compared to the initial flavor that had filled my mouth. This was blueberry cheesecake and I continued to taste it in my mouth for a few minutes after one tiny lick.

The night we decided to break out my beautiful new blue bottle we used it during foreplay first, as an enhancer to me giving my husband head. Again the pump makes it so easy to get out the perfect amount of lube. Quickly the room was filled with the amazing scent of blueberry cheesecake. It is a very thick lubricant and felt very smooth and natural on his skin. After a few minutes the really bad first taste went away and I was thoroughly enjoying a sweet treat. For someone that really dislikes the taste of cum, the flavor of this is long lasting, and eliminated any cum taste at all.

Next we applied more to his penis and tested it out for vaginal penetration. For sex, the lubricant worked very well. Since it is water based and safe for latex and toys we tried it with a butt plug for anal penetration. Again, I loved the thickness and wonderful glide that this lubricant provides. As just a lubricant this is one of the better performing lubricants I have found, but with the flavor you also get the luscious scent of blueberry cheesecake. The smell lingered at least a few hours. Using this product your bedroom will smell like you have been making a delicious dessert not fucking like bunnies.

This lubricant is paraben free making it a good choice for those trying to conceive (parabens can interfere with sperm count and motility) or those prone to vaginal irritation. It does still contain glycerin even though it is vegetable glycerin, so there is a possibility of a yeast infection. It is sugar free and a safe flavored lube for people that have sugar restrictions.

Guarana extract which is a stimulant commonly used in energy drinks is an ingredient in this lubricant and if you have caffeine sensitivity or are intolerant of energy supplements I would counsider choosing a different product. I did not notice any increased energy but my ingestion of this product was minimal. Siberian ginseng is also a listed ingredient, but it is not really a ginseng but Eleutherococcus senticosus. This herb has several beneficial effects on the body but if you are on medication for hypertension it can interact with those medications and cause the medication to be overly effective. This is unlikely but worth being aware of.

O'my is colorless and did not stain at all. There was a minimal sticky feeling after using this product but I always prefer a relaxing shower with my husband after sex anyway, so that was not really a problem. After washing my self and my toy that was used with the lube there was no reside or residual odor.

Clearly the key with this brand of lube is rubbing it in pretty good before tasting it. I tried it again the other night and it was very yummy. The only difference was rubbing it in good and letting it sit on the skin about a minute before I started licking it. This has made all the difference in the world as far as the taste goes.
