Toko Aqua--where slippery meets silky

This is the best lube I have tried so far and since it is water based it is very versatile. It feels very natural and it doesn't take that much to do its job. I'd like to try organic, paraben/glycerin free formulas in the future and compare my experience, but in the meantime I'd highly recommend this one.

This lube has a great smooth and silky texture imitating quite well the natural wetness of a woman. It feels great and very real. It has a good consistency and runs easily from the bottle, although the exact amount of lube coming out is hard to control. It leaks easily as well--even from other smaller bottles that you could use for traveling. I suggest carrying the bottle in a zip lock bag if you plan to bring some along with you. Since it is very easy to clean, leaks aren't that terrible, just a bit sloppy/sticky.

Toko Aqua is water based and since it is reactivated by water it is designed to be usable with water, therefore it is great to use in the shower and other watery places. You can even add water to it if it goes too dry over time. It can be used during solo sessions, with or without toys, as well as during sex. A little goes a long way. It takes just a few drops and you are good to go. The bottle is a generous 165 ml and will last a long time. It is also very slow to expire. I had a bottle for many years and it was still good until the last drop was out.

Here are the ingredients:
Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polyquaternium 7, MethylParaben, PropylParaben

The glycerin contained in the lube produces a longer lasting effect but can encourage microbe growth and infection in some women. Also, the parabens are chemicals used as preservatives that can cause some allergic reactions and have been subject to many controversial studies as to whether or not they are safe to use.. It seems that parabens can mimic the hormone estrogen, which is known to play a role in the development of breast cancers. I want to say that it is one of those "use at your own risk" ingredients.
