Truly Ultra Lube

Ultra Lube is a great long lasting water based lube I would recommend for sexual enhancement. I would especially recommend Ultra Lube for anal play, since it tends to stay in one place well, as well as with condoms and toys, since it will not react with them harshly (Water Base). I highly recommend Ultra Lube and will purchase again.

Use

Ultra Lube by Doc Johnson is a water based, condom safe lube that is so versatile you probably can use it everywhere. I recommend this lube specifically for condom and toy use, since it is water based and won't react with those items. Otherwise, Ultra Lube is great for everywhere. I do not believe this toy has any allergy related issues with it since it is a water based lube.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube is also nice since it doesn't get too sticky. It's also thick enough to hang around for anal play, but also goes on smooth. It is a slippery lube, but also tends to soak into your skin, but still work at the same time.
    • Smooth
    • Thick

Taste / Aroma

I did have the pleasure of tasting it, while peeling off the silver protective cover under the cap, thanks to the altitude and our tendency for products to burp out. It was not bad, actually better than other lubes I tasted. Its aroma is also what you would expect, though not strong.

Performance

During manual masturbation Ultra Lube went on smooth and slippery. After a few minutes it did tend to soak in a bit, but still worked fine. I then proceeded to lube up an anal probe (glass) which was awesome; it stayed in place and worked like a dream. After a few minutes I returned to my penis, which did have a small amount of stickiness to it, but with some water or more lube added it, we were in business.

Ultra Lube cleaned up like a breeze, since it is water based; one of the easiest lubes I've ever had the pleasure of cleaning up.

My favorite thing about Ultra Lube is probably is that is water based and stays in one spot, making it great for anal play. My least favorite aspect is that after about 5 or 7 minutes of not touching and moving, it does slow down and tends to stick a little bit, just a little.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural

Packaging

The weird thing is the packaging of Ultra Lube is completely different from what I see on EF; on their website it is a blue and clear package that stands on it's cap. What I got was a way more updated green and black bottle that stands upright. It must just be a rebranding of some sort.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Does not leak
    • Not discreet

Personal comments

There was some concern about some water based lubes not being 100% safe. After looking at the label I did see this lube contains Glycerine. If you take a look at the comments below, there is a complete list of its ingredients.
Follow-up commentary
Still a great lube, we use it every day and will purchase more when we run out! It works great with all of our toys. Since it's water based, it cleans up super easy.

Water-based lubes can still contain ingredients that can cause infection or can irritate sensitive skin. Do you know if it contains glycerin or parabens?
