The Uranus Silicone Based Lubricant made by Wet Lubricants turned out to be surprisingly nice. This lubricant is made to be used for anal sex interactions, but you can use this lubricant vaginally too. I have recently learned that I favor certain lubricants over others, but this one did a pretty good job. I don't want to hype it up too much, since I did have minor complications with this product, but nothing really bad went wrong.

Obviously, the best way to use this lubricant is anally, thus the hilarious name. I seriously laughed for a good ten minutes when I received this product in the mail. A real laugh attack. I was surprised at the small bottle, but realized when I opened it and rubbed it along my fingers that this lubricant would go a long way. It felt very velvety and silky. It didn't feel greasy, and it felt just...nice. I immediately liked it. The bottle threw me off a little, but the little dab of lubricant on my finger was a good feeling.

The texture of Uranus (let us all just laugh a little right now from the name) feels very nice to the touch. When I say nice, and when it is on my fingers, it feels like velvet. It just feels silky and I love the feel of it. The texture is extremely thin, which was surprising to me, since most anal lubricants try to be more... "thick". I was very curious to find out if it would really help anal sex become more pleasurable with a thin and nicely made lubricant.

It pours extremely easy. You really need to close the cap or it might spill out. It is very thin, but it has a nice bottle. It is one of those bottles that you just press your thumb on the top and it pops open.



This product stays in place very nicely, as far as I could tell. It doesn't feel sticky at any point, or greasy. It lasts a long time, but usually in my "anal" sessions, as in penetration with a partner, we did have to reapply. I honestly think we used too little before engaging in anal sex, so that might have been the problem the whole time. The second time we used this product, we had no problems at all. It never felt like it was sticking or too slick (if that even is a problem for people!).

There is absolutely no taste to Uranus. I'm sorry, I'm like a little kid and laughing again. There isn't any smell either, if you wanted to know.

In this section, I really wanted to explain the ingredients for you all. I know that allergies with lubricants can be quite a hard thing to overcome, because some of my favorite lubricants I can't even use because they have the wrong ingredients. Always be careful when picking out your lubricant, even though it is a fun and nice experimenting process.

It has four ingredients.
1. Dimethicone - This is a silicone based oil that is used in some conditioning hair products, so it also moisturizes and makes that velvety feel.
2. Cyclopentasiloxane - This is just a fancy name for another silicone additive, mostly again used in hair products that moisturize. It also said something about collagen, which is anti-aging.
3. Dimethiconol - Lots of articles are on this about being anti-aging and moisturizing, I am assuming it is another type of way to get your intimate spots to be super dripping from moisture.
4. Phenyl Trimethicone - This is an interesting ingredient, in my opinion. It is heat-resistant. I assume this ingredient makes it so there isn't any burning sensation and keeps things very slick. It also makes ingredients mixed with this ingredient not sticky and greasy. It is like a cure all for lubricant, apparently.

This product actually has lasted quite a while. The bottle is still nearly full, and we have used it multiple times. When engaging in sexual activity, either anally or vaginally, we only had to reapply once. I think we didn't apply enough the first time around, and that we fixed the second time around. We use about two drops/dabs of this lubricant, and it just goes on forever. Silicone lubricant does that, usually.

It was a little difficult to wash it off. You really had to get in there and get it out. I think that since it has so much moisturizing power in the ingredients, it just makes it so moisturizing that it wants to stay put wherever you put this lubricant. Once you do get it off, there is no problem at all. I really like the after feeling of this lubricant. It just feels.. clean. And it feels nice. It feels all warm and cozy. There are no warming effects to this product, but it just feels very elegantly nice.

And, I must tell you, this feels SO natural. I know that even myself...I have problems with natural lubrication. When I am naturally lubricating myself, this is exactly how it feels. It feels very natural and moisturizing. It feels like I'm just using my natural juices down there when used vaginally, and when used anally, it just feels so amazing.

Reminder, do not use silicone lubricants with silicone toys. It can damage your toys and you don't want that. Always use water-based lubricant for your most precious toys that are silicone, just to be on the safe side. There is a water-based lubricant from this same company that I am dying to try. I'll keep you updated.

There isn't much packaging. It came in a clear baggie and then there is just the bottle. The bottle is super informative and actually gives a lot of information.

I really enjoyed this lubricant. I usually just find one lubricant and stick with it. I have been experimenting with all these lubricants lately, and I have found that...I like quite a few of them. I have three favorites at this time. I love my Ultra by Wicked, I love this one, and I love my water-based lubricant, also by Wet lubricants.

My experiences with this lubricant went extraordinarily well. I really enjoyed how natural it felt and how it just lasted and lasted. Using this vaginally, it felt magnificent. Using this anally, it felt magical. I have mostly always liked anal sex but just recently have begun to love it more, because I have found the right lubricants for the right job! It really is a huge experiment when finding the right lubricant for anal sex. I now have two pretty amazing lubricants for engaging in anal sex. It makes me very happy. I hope it makes you happy too. If you are into anal sex, solo, masturbation, with a partner - skies the limit: definitely try this lubricant.
