Garden of edo organic collection - massage kit discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by TitsMcScandal

The Garden of Edo is comprised of 5 different Shunga products, from their Organica line. It is all packaged tight and nicely in an aluminum cylinder. The packaging is nice enough where you can restore the products in here if necessary, but since they are a bit of a range of products you probably won’t need the canister. I personally kept the canister, but will probably dispose of it or repurpose it soon.

Toko Organic Lubricant: I love this lubricant. It is water based, which is usually all I stick with (unless seeking lube for anal). I have always bounced around from brand to brand because nothing really strikes my fancy… until this. When I feel it in my fingers it feels like natural female lubrication. It doesn’t have a chemical taste, which means if going back and forth from oral/intercourse is an option. It meets my high standards for female safety too, no parabens or L-Arginine. Hypoallergenic too. During use I feel like I use/need less of it than other lubricants too. Overall, A+ with this. Not sticky or tacky like other water based lubricants but safe to use with all toys and partners.

Aphrodisiac Oil: Once again, the fact that this is organic makes a huge difference. This is the third Shunga Aphrodisiac oil I’ve tried and my favorite one just due to the organic fact. Usually when things are edible (like this is) it means it is made with some type of sugar. Sugar and vaginas don’t get along so well unless a yeast infection is your intended result. It does have glycerin in it, I know some people are sensitive to glycerin or don’t like using products with it so be mindful. It is certified organic and made with vegetable glycerin though, if that makes a difference to you. There are a few different ways you can use this.

1- Massages. A few drops on smaller sensitive portions of the body is a fun albeit sticky way to use this. This is a warming oil with friction and hot breath so using it on more sensitive areas (neck, small of the back, inner thighs) has more results than using it on larger areas like the entire back. The only way to avoid the sticky situation is to lick up the oil before it fully absorbs into the skin. My partner nor I mind this though because the oil tastes good. The smell/taste is more of apples than green tea, which I don’t mind since I prefer apples.
2- Oral. Flavored lubricants for oral can sometimes be too sticky or too sweet or just plainly don’t taste good. This not only tastes good but has that warming sensation that makes for a more interesting oral experience. I find that my guy enjoys this performed on him more than I seem to enjoy it on me. (I prefer the Lotus Noir, more on that to come).
3- Warming Lubricant. Add a few drops of this to the lubricant above and now VOILA! You have a warming lubricant. Pretty spiffy.

Lotus Noir Stimulating Gel: This is gold in a f’ing bottle. Apply approximately a pea size to the clitoris or two pea sizes to the Gspot and the area will become more sensitized. Climax will come quicker and with more intensity. I was skeptical at first, but now this product will not leave my nightstand. You can apply it to the head of the penis and the gel will transfer to the Gspot. As for sensitizing males, my partner reported that there wasn’t a difference for him, it just felt like lube. I really enjoy this during masturbation since it can be used with all toys. Be mindful that this does contain L’Arginine which pregnant woman shouldn’t use and if you have herpes can cause outbreaks. This can also be combined with the lubricant to make a cooling lube. I wouldn’t waste it like that because like I said PURE GOLD when used as a clitoral stimulator. It is a thicker consistency so it does stay put where you want it to. I wouldn’t use this more than a couple drops because it will get sticky and tacky. Plus you’d be wasting it since a couple drops does the job perfectly.

Massage Oil: This is my least favorite product in the kit; maybe because I’m not a huge massage oil fan in the first place. This massage oil is quite nice though. The scent is soft and subtle, almost pear-like actually. This is nice because a little goes a long way and if you don’t go overboard with the oil it absorbs completely into the skin. It leaves the skin with a soft scent and feeling moisturized for hours afterwards. This is thinner than the aphrodisiac oil which makes it easier to use on larger portions of the body like the back. It you take the cap off you can microwave the container for 10-15 seconds and get a hot deep tissue massage oil. My partner seemed to like this best.




Bath Salts: Ohmigush, talk about fantastic. The scent is very fresh which makes it easier to take a couples bath since it isn’t a girly scent. It turns the water a pretty green color (how green depends on how much you put in) and adds a frothy foam to the top of the water as well. It leaves a small scent to your skin if you are just soaking in it that lasts for a hour or two after bathing. It comes with a seashell to use as a dispenser. Make sure to completely dry the shell before restoring in the container or storing it nearby to avoid getting moisture in the salts. These don’t stain the tub nor do they leave behind any gritty salts. Major points.

I’ve had this kit for almost a year. Bought another one as soon as EF started carrying it. It is one of those kits that I honestly use everything in it, so why not buy them all together instead of wasting money buying them separately?
