Blushing brides gown and g-string - gown discontinued by Coquette - review by js250

This gown arrives on a satin, padded hanger which is inside a clear plastic bag. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful lace. It has shiny, silver treads accenting the pattern in a classy but subtle design. This does not show up in the site pictures and I was pleasantly surprised at this added touch of feminine beauty.

The material is Nylon and Spandex and has a nice amount of stretch. There are lace panels on the inside half of the bust that flown to meet the panel that runs down the middle of the dress. The dress has an open front that rounds down to the hem on each side. Note: The slit starts at the top of your panties, or the g-string underwear that matches the dress. If you have a belly flaw, there is a good chance it will be seen if the slit rides up a bit.

The bodice and skirt is definitely a nylon type material. It is also see through, your nipples and underwear/g-string will be seen through the material. This was a bit of an added bonus for my husband, but luckily I saw this issue in the pictures prior to loading them. I will not be including pictures due to the sheerness of the fabric. The material is very comfortable and flowing. The lace is soft and does not irritate or scratch the skin.

This gown needs to be hand washed in warm water and line dried. Do not iron or use a dryer with this gown, it will damage the material. The skirt did get a slight run from my new puppy's claw. She jumped up on me and her claw stuck in the material. I have not noticed any other damage. The seams seem to be very well sewn and there were no loose threads. The shoulder straps are adjustable.

This gown will work very nicely for a new bride, vow renewal evening, second honeymoon or a romantic evening with your special someone. It is very romantic, feminine and sexy. Just make sure the two of you are going to be the only ones home, unless you want a few flashes titillating your guest(s).

I got the OSFM size and really wished I would have gone up to the Plus size. The gown is very form fitting and really hugs my body. Including those little, or not so little, flaws I am trying to hide. The only way to tighten up is to wear nylons, and this gives you the waist band effect under your gown. Make sure to go up a size if you are close to the upper sizing.

There were a couple of issues with the bust area. The cups did not fit my D size breasts very well and had to be constantly adjusted. My husband did love the view when I bent over and they came tumbling out, but for the most part, I was able to keep them in by adding a brooch to keep the cups a bit closer for a bit of support.

This gown will be fantastic for those in the middle to lower end of the sizing chart. The bust had to have a brooch added to accommodate my D cups, but they did not fall out after I pinned the cups together. To do this, stand in front of a mirror and draw the cups in together about 2" up from the bottom. When you get the support you are looking for, pin it with the brooch. Make sure the brooch is securely fastened, or your partner will not be the only one getting a surprise!

This gown was just not a great choice for my physique or build. I do not like the fact that the slit goes up to the middle of my underwear and the figure flaws are not hidden. The bust does not fit larger sizes and the sheer material is a bit prohibitive for wearing around the house as a lounger.

The only purpose I have for wearing this gown is when my hubby and I are planning one of our hot evenings in the bedroom. Even then I own so many more flattering outfits that I tend to skip over this one.

For those that have a smaller figure, C cups or smaller and are a bit taller than 5' 2", this would be a nice and sexy gown. Just be prepared for a peepshow when you come out wearing this for your partner.
