Stretch lace long sleeve mini-dress - mini dress discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Breas

When I seen the Lace Long Sleeve Mini Dress by Fantasy Lingerie, I knew I had to have it! Right now, EdenFantasys only has the XL available, but that is my size so I knew it was meant to be.

The dress arrived, folded neatly within its pretty, pink cardboard packaging. The front of the box states the brand name and has a photo of a model wearing the dress. The back of packaging has the same items as the front, along with the care instructions and company contact information. The packaging states that the product is available in “one size” as well as the XL that is offered on EdenFantasys.



Inside of the packaging are the black dress and the matching g-string. The dress is made of 100% nylon and is extremely stretchy. I regularly wear a size XL and I found that the dress does have a bit of room in it when I wear it. If you are a size large and do not mind the dress being a bit loose, then the XL would be fine for you. Personally, I like that there is a bit of room because I do not like when my lingerie is skin-tight. Also, because of the stretchy material, the dress would fit a person a couple sizes above XL, as long as you are okay with the dress being a bit snugger on your body. Below is a photo of the dress. The image quality is not the best because when I was taking photos for this review, my camera died and I had to use my partner’s phone to take the final picture (sorry about that).




I had taken measurements of the dress laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, feel free to send me a message and I can get those for you.

Armpit to armpit: 20 inches
Sleeve length: 25 inches
Bottom of dress length: 20 ½
Length of entire dress (from top of collar to bottom of dress): 31 inches
Collar width: 2 inches
Collar length 8 inches

The dress has a really lovely lace pattern, and is not fully see-through. The g-string has the exact same pattern on it. I wear this dress as a bedroom outfit, but it could also be worn out if you have a bra/halter top/spaghetti strap top to wear underneath it as well as something to cover your bum.



. The collar is thicker than the dress because it is a double layer of the dress material. I did not find the collar on the dress to be uncomfortable or restricting in any way. In fact, the collar was a bit loose on my neck. Also, the material is quite soft, and did not irritate my skin or nipples when I wore the dress without a bra. Surprisingly, the dress does not seem to snag easily, though I tend to be more careful with lace lingerie to avoid snagging on jewellery, etc. The sleeves are longer than regular sleeves because there are holes for your thumb on each sleeve.



The care instructions stated on the packaging are different than the care instructions stated on the tag of the dress, so I will list both.

On the packaging: Hand wash separately in cold water. Do not bleach. Flat dry.

On the tag: Machine wash-warm gentle was darks separately. Tumble dry low. Remove Promptly. Do not twist or wring.

I’ll most likely just use the care instructions on the product tag. For a safer wash, put the lingerie in a lingerie bag or similar item before putting in the washing machine.

Overall, I give this product a 5 out of 5 rating. I feel extremely sexy in this outfit because I am not fully exposed, the material is comfortable, it comes with a matching g-string, the care instructions are simple, and it’s only $19.99 (oh, and my partner just LOVES it on me). I would absolutely recommend this piece to anyone because I feel that it would look beautiful on any body type.

I still LOVE this piece. I've actually worn it quite a few times since my review over a nice black tank top with a pair of jeans. It looks really fabulous! I think I've worn this piece more as an outside-the-bedroom piece rather than in the bedroom! I'm very happy with my purchase.
