Purple magic Tesa`s sweetheart corset - corset discontinued by Escante - review by Molly Carter

Tesa's Sweetheart Corset by Escante is a gorgeous piece that fits well and isn't too uncomfortable to wear for an extended period of time. Made of 100% polyester, the corset has a beautiful deep purple sheen and looks almost like satin.

With ten plastic boning strips through out the corset, it holds its shape decently well and is comfortable to wear. But because they are plastic, if you bend certain ways, the corset will bulge out oddly, but quickly come back to where it belongs.

The corset laces up the back with two different cords that meet in the middle. This design makes it easier to tighten, especially for those of us with larger breasts; I can have the top loose enough to accommodate the girls, while the waist and bottom can be cinched tight. The cords are cotton (I'm guessing) and feel almost like shoe strings. They are almost too long, having a lot of excess hanging in the back. There is a four inch privacy panel behind the cords, allowing your skin to be covered and making it more appropriate for out of the bedroom wear.

To make it easier to put on, there is a zipper up the left side, which is not very noticeable and a nice addition. The zipper pull at the top did irritate the skin under my arm after having this corset on for a few hours, but it was not unbearable.

I ordered a size 38, which is my bra size. The corset fit well, and if anything, it is a little big. Do NOT go up a size or you will be disappointed. Even though it can be cinched tight, I still have to wear a strapless bra with it if I'm leaving the house. But for play time, it is fine without, and the girls don't move around too much.

This is definitely cute enough to wear out, and hangs low enough to cover my "baby pouch." It looks great with a pair of dark jeans or slacks.

And remember, this is designed to be cute and sexy, comfortable and versatile. It's not a fetish style corset, and will not give you the hold and stiffness of one with real boning. But if you are just looking to play, this is a great start!

Hand wash in cold water with mild soap, and let line dry in the shade.

I love this, and so does my hubby. Sometimes when we are home all day on the weekend, I'll put it on with an open sweater over it and just go about my day. Within no time, he's ready to play, and I'll try and put him off, trying to stay busy. But he can be very convincing!

I still love this. It's still beautiful. I haven't worn it out of the house, but I will. It is just as beautiful at home as it is in the pictures. Well worth the investment.
